The big news was released this weekend, and it's Monday. There's pointing and laughing, name calling, and physical threatening. I don't know why they were calling me that, obviously it wasn't me for crying out loud! Dad's trial was this Saturday and I didn't even want to come to school be because of this reason. I knew kids would be mean because the full story was on the news. The headline was,"Lionel May going to trial Saturday". The segment of the news ended and I started bawling, there was tears streaming down my face for hours and hours. My mother coddled me like I was a four year old girl who broke her toy. Her loving hugs and soft whispering of words soothed and calmed me down to the point where I could speak again. I never wanted to speak to my father again, but I knew I would because I knew even though I wanted to I couldn't live without him. Right now mom wasn't speaking to home so he was staying in a nearby hotel, but had yet to come and see me.
