Chapter One-School Camp

Hi, everyone! This story is barely going to have any photos in it. I'm leaving the characters to build up (as in appearances) in your mind as the story goes on. So let your imagination do its job ;)

I bursted in my room and closed the door with a loud bang. I was so upset. I felt like I could break something just by looking at it! I've only had good grades this year and I've been working so hard and my parents still don't allow me to go to the school camp. It's a SCHOOL CAMP!? I really don't understand parents...
„Sage...? Sage, dear, open the door...!“
„Don't dear me, mother.... I don't want to listen to your stupid excuses again... I don't care what you say anymore so you might as well go fuck yourself...“
I threw some books at the door and I heard my mom going down the stairs. I quickly called Ellie.
„Come to my house...ASAP“
„At the back yard in 5“
I put on my jacket and my shoes and opened the window. I climbed down the tree which is right next to my window. As soon as I saw El I quickly walked to her. She knew about my family problems and arguments. I think she already knew why she was here. Maybe that is why she looked so worried about me.
„What happened? Are u ok? What did your parents do again?“
„Oh, El... Only if you knew... I swear to god my parents are so rude and bossy. They don't allow me to go to the camp. I have good grades, I have all the money needed for it and all of my friends are going. They literally know half of yall. I'm so sick of them and their bullshit. That's why I'll go anyways. If they don't allow me to go, I don't have any other choice than go without their knowing.“

„Yas, girl! As you should! Ok, so...? What's the plan?“
„Pick me up at 7 tomorrow.“
„Ok then, see ya!“

We said our goodbyes and I went to Vivian's house for a sleepover. I couldn't stay even a minute more at my house. When I arrived I went in her room.
„Hey, girl! Wassup?“
„Bitch, if you didn't come I would literally die. Being alone a whole night isn't good for me you know?!“
„Yeah, I know Vi... Last time you almost burned the whole house and you just tried to make dinner...“
„Um chile... Why don't we invite over Ellie too?“
„I was with her before like 15 minutes hahah but sure.“
I called her and told her about the sleepover. We went into the living room. I played some random Spotify playlist on her tv and turned the volume up. We were searching in the kitchen for some snacks when we heard the doorbell. Vi went to open the door while I'm making popcorn. Vi and Ellie soon entered the kitchen. The popcorn was ready so we all went to Vi's room.
„Sage, what's up with your parents?Did they allow you to go to the camp?“
„Not really... But I'm gonna sneak out and go anyways.“
I said as I put some popcorn in my mouth.
„Wow, I wouldn't have the guts for that. But you go, girl.“
„Vi, how is it going with that lover boy of yours?“
”That lover boy“ was Brian, Vi's boyfriend. She's only talked about him but I never actually got to meet him in person.
„Our relationship is the best... I'm so in love! And he's visiting after the camp!“
„Yay I'm gonna finally meet him!“
„Well it was about time...“
„By the way I gotta be at home at 5am so I can change my clothes and see if I missed putting something in my suitcase.“
„Ok we'll pick you up from your house then. Be ready! “
„Thanks, guys! You are the best!“
I gave them both a long, big, warm hug. That was the least I could do for them. Especially after all the help they offered me.
„Now let's just have fun!“
We watched a movie, talked A LOT, had one pillow fight... Or two? Maybe even three to be honest... Oh and I also forgot to mention that we made a karaoke party. Not that any of us can sing... We decided not to drink since we'll have to wake up early. We lost track of time and we fell asleep early in the morning and soon after that my alarm went off. I stopped it and stood up from the bed. I quickly took my stuff and said my goodbyes with the girls.

I went home quietly so my parents don't hear me. I put on a sweatshirt and some biker pants. I know it's nothing much but after all we are travelling really long time. Your girl gotta be comfortable. I took my suitcase and my backpack and snuck out from the window because someone was already up. Sorry but I'm not taking any risks... I saw the car in front of my house. I ran up to it and put my suitcase in the trunk. I went in and said hi to Ellie's mom. She was in the driver's seat and all three of us were at the back seats. She drove to the bus station. We took our suitcases and went to the others to talk. We waited for the bus and soon it came. We all sat on our seats. I was next to El and Vi because we sat at the back of the bus where it has three seats. It was a 7 hour ride... We did the usual-we talked about how excited we were, we ate some snacks, we played stupid games, listened to music and of course-slept.

And finally we were there. The huge hotel with a pool and beautiful big forests around it. We all went in and headed to the reception to take the key for our room. I took the key and the girls went to the room. I stayed at the lobby and talked a bit with some of my friends from another schools because there wasn't only ours. There were high schools from all around America! Just when I was about to go in the elevator so I can go to the room too I saw someone I wasn't expecting to see there.
„Jake??“
He looked at me and his jaw immediately dropped.
„No way...! Sage?!“
We managed to get to each other somehow even though the crowd of people that were around us. We hugged tightly for like a minute or two.
„Oh my fucking God... What?? When did you come back in the country?“
I asked with a big smile while analysing every inch of him.
„Yesterday. Couldn't miss the camp haha... “
„I'm soo happy that you are here! Wow I can't believe it's been so much time since we've seen each ither...“
„Well... It's not thaat much...“
„How are 4 YEARS not that much,Jake?!“
He laughed.
„I was just kidding.... I missed you kiddo“
He ruffled my hair playfully like he did when we were little.
„Jakeyy stop... We are not 8 anymore! And also just because your birthday is some months before mine doesn't make me a KiDdO!“
„Ok, ok... Maybe I'll stop calling you that... AFTER I think of a better one!“
We both laughed.
„Well I gotta go now. We are gonna walk in the forest in 1 hour. Are you comming orr?“
„Of course, Jake! Wherever you go I go! Wanna match? Let's be in green and white so we can match the forest vibes. Are the colors ok with you...?“
„Hahah sure, S-“
„Jake, let's go!“
„Well... Gotta go... See ya later!“
„See ya!“
We quickly hugged again and he disappeared in the crowd of people. I went in the elevator and went to mine and the girls' room. We rested for a bit on our beds and then got ready for the forest walk.
