Chapter 16- The Voice Returns

MINNIE

After being under those bleachers all day, it really does do something to your back and vision. I was so used to being in the darkness that when I came out, I felt like I went blind. I looked outside the windows, it wasn't super bad weather but it wasn't the weather you would want to stay in all day. Beomgyu came up next to me and looked out the window. "Maybe it'll rain, and here I was about to ask you on a date." He shrugs. "Maybe another time." I looked at him slowly with some blush forming on my face. "Y-you we're gonna what...?" He smiles turning to me. "A date. I was going to ask you on a date." My face became even redder and I touched my cheeks. I've never really blushed this much. Why is it happening now...? C-can I make it stop...?

Beomgyu laughed and touched my cheeks. "Aaww, you're blushing. Am I causing you to blush?" I nodded my head. He smiled and said "Do you have a crush on me?" This was my chance to nod my head as yes but I didn't do anything. He pouted. "Aw man, I was hoping you did..." I still stood quiet. It was too soon for me to date him, he just came back... he pinched my cheeks and booped my nose. "I'll get going. I have to get home and feed Toto!" I gasped and said "You still have Toto?" He smiled and nodded his head yes. "Toto can actually speak more now. It's adorable! You should come over some time and see." I smiled and said "Yeah, maybe one day during the weekend or when we have off from school!" He patted my head and said "It's a deal then, Minnie Mouse."

He left running but not before waving frantically at me. Which I waved frantically back. I smiled to myself and was about to leave when I bumped into a figure. The figure turned around and I decided not to say sorry after whose face I just saw. You guessed it, Ruby. She scoffed and folded her arms. "Did your dad not teach you manners? You say sorry after bumping into someone unintentionally." I responded "Maybe it wasn't unintentional." She glared down at me and blew a bubblegum bubble out of her mouth. I raised my finger and popped it, causing it to splatter across her face. I smirked and smacked her across the face and left running. To which she chased after me, I looked for anywhere to hide, but in any one of these spots could she easily find me. I ran and I ran. Until I found somewhere to hide, somewhere she most likely wouldn't dare to try looking for me at.

Behind Park Seonghwa.

I looked up at him and said "Someone's chasing me. Can you hide me please?" He nodded his head and looked around. "Who are you hiding from?" I answered "A girl named Ruby. You'll be able to spot her any second now." He nodded his head and took out his phone and pretending he was using it. And you guessed it, Ruby came over and tried to hit me. To which Seonghwa grabbed her hand and said "What do you think your doing?" She attempted to pull her hand away but was met with Seonghwa's stare instead. "So, you think trying to hurt my friend here is a good option in this situation?" Ruby looked at Seonghwa. "I don't care if your a girl, Ruby. Yeah, I know who you are. It doesn't matter to me if you are a girl. I will do everything in my power to hurt you." He grabbed her other arm and twisted it. Ruby screamed a little and Seonghwa licked his lips glaring back at her. "Aaww, you have such weak bones here, Ruby. I wonder what will happen if your arm..." he twists it even more. "Makes a 360 turn..."

He smirked and said "Aaah...just the thought of your sweet and tasty blood pouring out of your arm...it would be a really pleasurable sight to see, young Ruby..." She squirmed around and said "Let me go!!" He let her arm go and grabbed a fistful of her hair and whispered "Now don't you dare get close to Minnie again, got it, bitch?" She nodded her head and Seonghwa back hand slapped her so she can really learn her lesson. After Ruby got her ass scarred for the rest of her life, she ran away. I looked at Ruby running and Seonghwa patted my head and said "Don't worry. She won't bother you for probably a while. She'll be too scared to." I bowed down and said "Thanks...I don't know what would have happened to me if I didn't come to you..." He smiled and said "I'm always here to help you..."

After I got all my stuff from my locker and was ready to head home. I noticed some people talking. I hid behind a wall in case it was a secret or I would get in trouble if I was caught. I could hear them talking something about kidnapping a girl, and possibly...killing her...what? Am I hearing correctly? Kidnapping and killing a girl?! Torturing her?! I can tell it was two voices talking...why would people want to kidnap a girl...? And- and torture her...? Suddenly, I felt myself being pulled towards the talking and push me against the wall. A hand being out over my mouth to shush me. A voice saying "You heard our conversation, didn't you? Don't lie..." I nodded my head. The other voice saying "Of course she did. Being her nosy little self." The first voice put a finger on my lips and said "If you dare to say this to anyone, I will make sure your life becomes a living hell. You know what I'm capable of, sweetheart. You've seen me in action before, you know what I can do, and you know I won't hesitate to kill you. You know too much...you're lucky I'm letting you live..." I nodded my head. The second voice said "Make sure she doesn't tell the victim." The first voice looked at me and said "Make sure you don't tell this to anyone. Especially..." he whispered in my ear and my eyes widened. N-no...can't be...this has to be a dream... The first voice said "If you tell anyone...I won't dare to kill your little siblings and feed their tiny bodies to you...oh it would be a joy to hear such screams from them, especially since they are still so little..." The second voice stared into my soul and said "Now scram." I left running. This can't be, they can't be after...
