Hiding with the Horses

Author's Note

Well, hey there!

          This is going to be one of the five stories I'm beginning to write... I must be mad to be taking on so many. But out of all of them, I think I might have been anticipating writing this one the most, though I haven't spent as much time plotting it out like I did with Lure Me. 

         Hiding with the Horses will be one of those mystery/action books, but with a bit of romance mixed in. And horses. Lots and lots of Horses. So, I think it's safe to say this book will be a little more unusual than most. All of the characters in this novel will be riding English only, not Western, as they will be living in the UK, though it won't be stated exactly whereabouts. I will also be writing using English words and not American, so please do not bug me in the comments section saying I spelt 'colour' or 'favourite' wrong. It's just our way of spelling these things. 

          Also, please notify my if you are confused about anything, I don't bite.

          Hard.

          No, I'm only kidding, haha. I'll understand if you don't understand any of my english terms or clothing items or anything, especially if you have no idea what I'm talking about that's to do with horses. I'll probably be uploading a page with a list of words and their meanings, as well as the parts of tack I mention and parts of a horse. Or you could google it, I don't mind.

          Also, I'm a bit younger than quite a few writers and authors on here, so I'll ask you to be kind. I can put up with a few harsh comments or rude critiques, but there's a limit on how much I can take. Be nice to me and I'll be nice back - simple as that.

Like quite a few people on here, I'm here to learn and share the creations I have made, and I would love to know what you think of them. I have tried to make each character as unique as I could, with each of them having positives and flaws to them. Not everyone in every novel can be perfect, unlike the characters in quite a few stories on Wattpad. Not every person looks like a model. I do understand, though, seeing as most of us want our protagonist to be cool. I would love to know what you think of each character, what you like or dislike about them. 

          I'll be trying to avoid the use of strong language in this novel, as usual, but there'll be probably be quite a bit of violence and action towards the end. Mostly it'll just be to do with their adventure and the bonds between the four main characters, as well as the love they all share for their horses, and their efforts to try and piece together everything.

          So, all in all I hope you enjoy this read. They will be slow uploads, perhaps every weekend or so, as I'm extremely busy with school and I've taken up quite a few new hobbies (one of them being Hip-hop, thanks to Lure Me, as it's got me interested in the dance again)

          I've also begun helping out at my local stables more and more to help me gain knowledge for this story, and I recommend horse-riding as an awesome hobby to begin. I've been horse-riding since I was seven, but my love for it has never stopped. I can't imagine what life would be like without the stables... it's definately worth trying.
