Ariana's POV

"Take a look at this example, class," our teacher points out the text written on the white board using her pentel pen.

Our teacher's voice is the only sound we can hear right now aside from the air conditioned unit behind our row. It produces a minimal sound but good thing it helps in breaking the silence and at the same time our teacher's high-pitched voice.

"I said look at this."

I'm about to yawn when my eyes directly dart on the board because of the strict voice raised. I simply yawn then by covering my mouth. Gosh, I feel so sleepy. So I sit straight and roam my eyes sideward. I see others jot down afterwards, while I bow my head for a while to check out my notebook on my desk.

"What can you notice from this example? Anyone?"

Our teacher calls a name, good thing it's not me. You know, I really hate when my name is called and I'm not ready to what I am going to answer. It's really a shame for me.

My classmate being called from the other row speaks up, then silence comes next.

"All right. Take your seat."

I am able to breathe out freely when she elaborates the answer of my classmate. While Mrs. Legaspi is explaining, I'm listing down on my notebook the things that our group will do later after the class. I already have listed two, namely: accepting new members and their background introduction and of course, food trip together. Then I sigh as I'm thinking again for addition. How about if I could add drinks and chips on the list?

Well, it's a good idea. I think all of them would be happy for this.

"What's that?"

I look at Lyndsey who catches me writing down. We are two seats apart but in the same row.

"Daily plan," in a small tone I answer.

She just nods with curiosity in her face. After which, I close my notebook when I hear the bell rings. It's already break time! All of us shout in joy, but Mrs. Legaspi gives a homework before she departs. Ugh, it would be better if she had not done it, right?

She secretly kills our joy, really.

"What's our plan later, head?" She excitedly asks. That's what she is always looking forward before the day ends. Well, I can't blame Lyndsey. She caught me writing something a while ago. Even I wanted to have something to anticipate, something new should I say.

"Come on, speak up."

I choose to smile on her as my response while zipping my bag. I think I should not sound for now because I want to surprise them later.

"Is it new?" She adds.

My buddies are already outside together with Lyndsey. They are all excited every time it's break time. Now, they are waiting for me to get out of our room. Before I usually leave my seat, I make sure that my things are inside my bag already. But I can't stand without a phone and wallet in my hand wherever I go. These two things are really important, aren't they?

"Let's see," I shortly reply.

"Here you are, again," she exclaims. "Can you please tell us in advance?"

"Don't be so insisting, okay?" One of the buddies butts in.

"Fine!" Lyndsey gives up, then rolls her eyes.

"We're going to have drinks and chips," I say while she's still standing behind the door. Her eyes turn to me with a shocking reaction on her face.
