Chapter 3

     ------The Bat Cave------     

Robin's PoV:

I sighed as I spun around in my chair, I had given up on paying attention to the screen long ago.

Batman had put me here hours before, he wanted me to watch the screen which was tracking a fugitive or  -something. I had tried to watch it, if only for a few hours; but you can only expect a boy to sit still for so long.

I tapped my gloved fingers on my thighs absent-mindedly as I glanced back at the screen, and nearly fell out of my chair as I spun around.

The dot (representing the person-who's-probably-a-fugitive ) was in the ocean, which wouldn't be a problem, except for the three problems it bought:

-It was moving too fast for any boat, let alone human

- They were in an area that prohibited swimming and water activates

- It was moving directly towards Atlantis

I jumped out of my seat and hit the button next to me, calling Batman to the cave. The doors behind me slid open with a hiss, they were made of metal and reinforced to stop intruders.

As he came up to the screen, Batman turned to me and asked, " What happened? Did she go anywhere new?" I raised my eyebrow at the mention that the person was a she but let him finish.

I glanced back at the screen to make sure I wasn't wrong.

"Well, umm, the person is in the ocean," I stated carefully. Batman sighed deeply as he rubbed his forehead before gesturing for me to continue.

"And they're going way too quickly for any vehicle to go," I continued. At this he stepped forward  to get a better look of the screen.

I continued talking," And, well they're heading towards Atlantis!" Batman's brow furrowed as he looked at the screen and when he saw what I said to be true, whirled around  to face me.

He instructed me, "Well, thank you for that. Now, continue your duties, I will speak to the Justice League about this." As he spoke, I stared at him in disbelief and annoyance.

"But- I should be involved in this! I can help you!" I spoke.

"Don't worry about it, the Justice league will deal with it, just go to Justice mountain," He stated firmly, " Go and train with your team, get some bonding time in or something." I wanted to argue that I was perfectly capable of helping, but I knew it was pointless.

I turned and watched him as he walked to the Zeta tube on the other side of the room, annoyed at how easy it was for him to brush me off.

With a deep sigh, I used the Zeta tube to travel to Justice Mountain, hoping to get time to discuss what was happening.

------In the Middle of the Ocean------

Percy's PoV:

I took a deep breath (is it even possible to take a breath underwat- DOESN'T MATTER) to calm my nerves, and pushed myself through the cool depths of the ocean, riding the currents. If this went wrong, if I messed up the plan, Zeus knows what would happen. Scratch that, I doubt Drama Queen knows anything about this.

After I'd explained what had happened to Melissa, she immediately tried to convince me to go to the police. With a single look she realised how bad of an idea that was what with the fantastic record I have with the police.

I IM'd Poseidon (my dad) and asked what I should do. He had the most experience with these heroes, his kingdom was split into two parts: Godly and Not-Godly. I'd only been to his palace but the other half of Atlantis often interacted with the mortal world (mainly as they have a Hero of their own: Aquaman.) To be honest, his name seems pretty weird, but then again so are most of the Superhero names, I mean Batman? What is he, a mix of a bat and a man.

But, I digress, my dad, Annie and I (mainly wise girl) had come up with a plan. And we were about to carry it out.

I paused as I stopped in front of my dad's palace, praying that our plan would work. I floated forward, landing in front of my dad in the courtyard.

WELL this took wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long (like a month-) but ITS HERE

im SO sorry it took so long, updates should (hopefully) be fortnightly (on the Sunday but im going on holiday for a week so-)?

Thank u IRL friend for saving me from BUNCH of embarrassing spelling/grammar mistakes (can u even call saying 'to' instead of 'too' THREE TIMES mistakes? or is it just being dumb-)
