*Lizzie’s P.O.V*

“Excuse me, Miss Lizzie,” one of the butlers called and I looked at him.

“Yes, what is it Richmond?” I asked.

“Mrs. Beckley wanted you to go down, the guests will arrive soon,” he answered.

I smiled, “Thanks for informing, you may go now Richmond,” I said and he nodded before he left my room.

My smile immediately faded. A dinner? But I’m not even hungry yet.

I just walked outside my room and toward the dining room, where I saw my parents standing.

“Lizzie, please be on your best behavior like always,” mom said.

“Yes mother,” wow I sounds so formal.

She smiled, “Good,” she replied.

“Richmond!” then Richmond came into sight.

“Have you called Henrie?” mom asked and Richmond bowed down.

“Yes, Mrs. Beckley,” Richmond answered.

“Mom, I am not even hungry yet, gahh,” Henrie grunted as he came inside the room.

“Henrie! I do not tolerate you to act like that during the dinner, understood?” Henrie scowled but nodded.

“Don’t nod, say something,” Henrie sighed heavily.

“Yes mom,” he mumbled.

“Henrie! Try to act like your younger sister!” mom hissed and Henrie rolled his eyes.

“You mean a goody two shoes?” he teased.

“I am not a goody two shoes!” I hissed and he looked at me bored.

“OF COURSE, you’re not,” he said sarcastically.

Don’t let him get to your mind, Lizzie.

One of the maids came inside the room, “The Pattisons and The Lamberts are here,” she said.

“Alright, thank you for informing, uh Breanna,” we don’t even have a maid named Breanna.

We all walked to the living room, and I saw my best friends, Giselle and Taylor. And also their older sisters.

“Oh my god, I hate Victoria, she’s just like you, so fancy,” Henrie whispered behind me.

“Shut up!” I whisper/yell and he shrugged.

“Welcome, everyone! It is very delightful to meet all of you again,” mom said in her fancy accent.

Giselle, or for short Elle, look at me and smiled. I smiled back, I look at Taylor and she seemed bored. Mrs. Lambert nudge Taylor’s arm and she shrugged.

“Well, let’s all go to the dining room, shall we?” I turned around and walked toward the dining room, sitting next to Henrie and Taylor. Beside Taylor is Elle.

“This is all great, I am actually sitting next to two fancy girls, whom I hate the most,” I heard Henrie muttered.

I stomped his foot and he held a yelp as he glared at me and I gave him an innocent smile.

“How has it been?” Victoria tries to build up conversation with Henrie, but he glared at her.

“Since the last dinner which is last week? Great,” Henrie answered sarcastically and once again I stomped his foot.

“Will you please stop it?!” he whisper/yell.

“Hey Lizzie!” Elle and Taylor whispered at the same time and I look at their direction.
