Hiya this part of the story is very depressing and I'm finding it quite hard to write, so I thought I would summarise what happens here :)

So obviously Fleur and Maggie are extremely devastated at the loss of their father, so during the war their strength is mostly fuelled by rage.
The tank blows up half the prison and basically makes it a completely unliveable environment.
Daryl manages to throw a grenade into the tank however, and blow it up before it can kill anyone.

Throughout the war it is obvious the Prison is winning, but the Governor doesn't stop.
Most of Woodbury run away or actually start to help the Prison because they realise they are the good side.
As the gunshots get louder and heavier this grabs the attention of thousands of walkers nearby. The walkers start making their way to the prison and soon enough Rick realises the prison just isn't a home anymore.

In the chaos of the war the group gets split up.
Carl, Fleur, Rick and Michonne stay together.
Tyrese, Carol and baby Judith stay together.
Daryl, Isla and Andy stay together.
Maggie, Sasha, Katelyn and Tom stay together.

Now here is the extremely sad thing.
As Carl, Rick, Fleur and Michonne are fleeing the prison they see Judiths pram on the floor, covered in blood and guts.

Jumping to conclusions they all think that Judith is dead, and this makes matters ten times worse.
But they have to leave as walkers close in on them, so they go without looking for Judith.

Now obviously Judith isn't dead, she is with Carol and Tyrese- but they don't know that.

Glenn leaves the prison with help from a Woodbury girl named Tara.
Turns out Tara is a really nice and clever girl.
Remember her because she is a new main character.

Daryl, Isla and Andy all take the motorbikes out of the prison.

And here is the most amazing thing ever: Michonne manages to chop the Governors head off just like he did with Hershel- with her Katana.

So yeah thats the Governors death, finally, I know everyone wanted it.
The thing is the Governor was really a silly character and to be honest I personally think he ruined like two seasons but oh well.

Before the Governor dies he actually kills Martinez... PLOT TWIST.
They get into an argument because Martinez thought killing Hershel was the wrong idea and the Governor was like fuck it, ill kill you too.

The whole apocalypse really messed with the Governors head, and I think a reason he was a fairly interesting character is because he was so not a bad person before. He had a family, children, a good life- and it just goes to show what the trauma can do.

Martinez isn't anyones favourite character, I hope, if he was then what planet are you from.

In the next chapter it will start from when everyone gets out of the prison.
I really liked just summarising in this chapter because writing Hershels death really messed me up so it is nice to write casually and like I am talking to you one on one.

This is short but thats what I wanted so I hope it was still enjoyable for you!
As soon as I publish this I will start the next chapter so you shouldn't have to wait long.

Thank you and read on :)
