I quickly cover my ears when a jacket gets thrown over my head and I get picked up by someone though I have no idea who it is. I squeal in surprise and try to get out of the strangers grasp. Whoever it is brings me outside and from what I can barely see through the jacket he is bringing me to the lake. I hear footsteps from behind and now I am furious. He made me drop my pizza! What kind of animal does that.

"Hope you can swim!" He says and throws me into the river but he doesn't get out of this that easily.

I allow my body to go limp for a few seconds before I start thrashing around in the water as if the water is too deep to even stand up in which it isn't. "I can't swim." I say allow some of the dirty water into my mouth to make it sound like I'm driving before I spit it all out and feel arms wrap around my waist.

"Are you ok!" Tall, dark, and cowboy asks and I glare at him.

"You almost killed me!" I say and he rolls his eyes standing up in the river picking me up too when he realizes that my shirt is white.

"Oh my gosh- here take my jacket." He says and I laugh, throwing my white shirt off to show my bathing suit.

"Don't you think I know what the last week of school brings? You have to be ready at all timed and with that being the case." I say and pull out a squirt gun and start shooting him with water.

"What the-" he says before he grabs the gun and twirls it around his hand.

"You owe me a cherry milkshake." He says smirking and I grin and throw some more water in his face.

"As if!" I say and he raises an eyebrow grabbing my arm and bringing me close to his face. After about three seconds we are about an inch apart and I burst out laughing.

"Where's your boy toy?" Cowboy asks and I shrug.

"Probably hanging out with his other friends, cause yah know he has those."

"That makes sense, so I can steal you away for the day?"

"If you want to I guess." I say, remembering what Mr. Scotchman said. "I have the perfect place, come on." I say and grab his arm before running out of the lake with him. Glad I am wearing my water shoes all day and that my white bikini with Cherries on it actually looks cute with these shorts.

I chose the vintage bikini top this morning knowing that the last week of school is basically the splash zone. My mom got me the bikini last year and it still fits perfectly so I absolutely had to. I paired them with these olive green water shoes because you are kidding yourself if you think I'm gonna risk getting my leather cowgirl boots soaked from the inside out, they are old enough. Plus I have had the same water shoes for the past three years because they don't keep water at the bottom and they actually look really cute. Then for the shorts I went for a pair of denim cause you can never go wrong with denim especially in the south.

"Wait you should take my jacket." He says and gives me his denim jacket that will be over sized on me but that doesn't matter.

"Uhm- thanks?" I say and grab the denim jacket he gives to me as we pass his truck to get to mine. We get to the large red truck that has green swirls.

"Meet Cherry Bomb." I say he laughs and jumps into the truck as I turn the radio on to the country radio. "There are many people who drink in moderation." The radio plays and I squeal and start singing along to basically the theme song to my life. If I walked into a room with this song playing it's game over.

"So you are like a real country." He says and laughs and I nod.

"Heck yeah it's my life, what about you?" I ask while I keep my eyes on the road.
