37. Never Ever Again

Staring outside the balcony the young brunette sighed, looking up at the moon, while thinking about what happened in the last few hours.

The dinner with the people of the Park Residence, plus one Min and Jeon, was kind of awkward for the only human present there.

When Jimin's brother and brother-in-law returned from their stroll, they not only greeted him warmly but treated him as if he was also a part of the family.

But when Jimin's 'fiance' returned back from his work. Taehyung was not sure if his friend was excited to see his fiance in a happy way or in an angry way.

Jimin, to him, almost resembled like an angry cat who's been starved for 2 whole days.

After trying to figure out his friend's mood for a while he shrugged it off, not wanting to poke his nose much in the matter. Fearing he might irritate his friend.

But one thing he noticed during the dinner. Every now and then he could feel a pair of eyes staring at him.

And whenever he looked up to see who it was, he would notice Jimin's brother-in-law looking at him with a  fond small smile on his face.

He didn't know why the elder would stare at him or would now and then smile at him fondly, or even would ask him if he needed something more or not.
But it didn't make Taehyung feel suffocated or cornered, like it usually would do.

He made him feel almost like Jin. Or maybe something more. He almost reminded him of their parents.

While he was thinking about the particular vampire's gestures towards him, he didn't notice a figure approaching from behind.

The figure kept quiet for a couple of minute, observing the delicate features of the human, before placing a hand on Taehyung's petite waist.

A gasp escaped the brunette's lips shocked, and turned around to fight off the intruder.

As soon as he turned around, his hand stopped immediately in mid air, which was ready to punch.

Infront of him stood his favourite ravenette vampire, and currently crush, with his bunny smile.

"Don't scare me like that" Tae lightly punched Jungkook on his shoulder, while turning back again to look up at the moon.

"Well you seemed to be too deep in your thoughts to notice my presence beside you for these few minutes" Jungkook commented.

"Oh you were here for a while?"

Jungkook nodded his head while standing beside Taehyung, looking up at the moon, his right hand still placed intact on Taehyung's waist firmly.

"What are you thinking so hard?" The ravenette asked.

Inhaling softly the new scent in the air with Jungkook's presence, the brunette answered,

"Minnie's family is very nice"

At this Jungkook looked at Taehyung waiting for him to continue, which seemed like the latter didn't intend to do.
