JOSIAH'S POV
It was early Monday morning when my alarm clock went off. Ugh, "why do I have to get up so early" I think to myself as I roll over in my bed. The sun is flooding my room as I squint trying to wake the sleep from my eyes. I get out of bed heading to my dresser trying to find what I should wear today. I pull out a pair of jeans and a tee shirt, putting them on I then head down stairs. Looks like I got up late. My Family was already up attacking a pile of pancakes.

I have two sisters Jess and Jenna I'm the older of the two, and the only boy, so it can get kind of boring hearing them talk about bows, hair, and every thing else girls like to talk about. Now don't get me wrong I love my two sisters. I mean if it wasn't for them I would probably have nothing to do with girls. Not that I don't like girls it's just I am very careful around them.

I used to have a girlfriend at one point in my life. We were the best of friends since we were four, so I thought. She dumped me last year for some other guy, I never really got over it, so I have tried to stay away from girls as much as possible. It doesn't help any that we still go to the same school.
As I walk into the kitchen I sit down and grab a couple of pancakes, butter them, and drizzle some maple syrup over the top.

"Good morning sleepy head," my mom says as I shove down a mouthful of pancakes. "Morning," I mumble. "Hurry and eat your food the bus will be here any minute" my mom said. I gobble down the last of my pancakes, take a swallow of orange juice, and grab my back pack all ready to go.

As I was headed to the door my twelve year old sister Jess jumped onto me piggy back style. "Whoa" I say as I almost fall over. "Don't you think you're a little big for that?" "No, I want a piggy back ride to the end of the road," says Jess. "Okay, guess I have no choice since you already are on me" I laugh.
The bus soon arrives and we get on.

My sisters are popular at school, so they sit with all the other popular girls. I on the other hand don't care to hang out with any of the kids. The boys are to rough and I'm not able to talk to any of the girls without my voice getting caught in my throat or I start shaking with nervousness. There was a time when I had no trouble talking with girls, but with what happened last year I couldn't help but shy away from them.

I take my seat in the very far back away from every one.
We arrive at school, my sisters get off the bus with me right behind them ready to start the new day.

AMBERS POV
It was a beautiful day the sun was out an it was very warm. As I step out of my car the warm spring breeze whips through my hair while walking to the main door. I was kind of nervous today being that it was my first day at this school. Me, my mom, and dad moved from New York to Florida just last week. So far there is nothing that resembles my old home at all.

I open the door, wow, this school is way smaller than the one I used to go too. Tenth through twelfth met all in the same room; at my old school each grade had there own room. "Oh well, maybe I can meet some new friends faster that way."

I walk into my first class a few minutes late making all the kids stare at me. "You're late" the teacher says looking up at me before noticing I was new. "Sorry, you must be the new student, please, have a seat." As I walk to the only empty desk in the room I noticed the boy sitting next to my desk watching me the whole time.

I wondered what he was starring at; did I have something on me or was my hair messed up? who cares. I sit down while the boy next to me still glances at me from the corner of his eyes. I make a mental note to ask him if there was something wrong after school.

JOSIAH'S POV
I'm sitting in class with the first subject being mathematics. About five minutes into the lesson I hear the classroom door behind me open. I turn around to look. There behind me is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her long brown hair flowing to just below her shoulders and her big blue eyes. I just couldn't take my eyes off of her. I knew that I wouldn't stand a chance meeting her; one look around the room and you could see all the guys mouths drop open.

She starts walking towards me when I realize that the only desk is besides mine. I quickly turn my head in the opposite direction but still glance at her from the corner of my eyes. She sees me looking at her, so I look back up at the teacher. The hours before lunch break crawl ever so slowly as I wait for to bell to ring.

Having a pretty girl sitting beside me is not the easiest thing for me. I get all nervous, my knee starts going up and down, and I keep running my fingers through my hair. When the lunch bell finally rang I got up and headed out of there as fast as I could trying to be first in the cafe line. I grabbed my food and started looking for a table.

The left corner of the cafeteria is where the popular kids hang out including both of my sisters, on the right near the window sat the smart kids, and the rest of the kids always sat in the middle of the room.
There was one desolate table towards the back. I decided to sit there since I didn't really have any friends plus I like being by myself better; did I mention I get nervous when I'm around people?
