    "Wakey,wakey.....frog voice"

That voice was familiar but i didn't expect the owner of the voice to be around by this time of the year and this early,no! It must be a dream,let's sleep Tania!

   "Hey chihuahua eyes,don't sleep on me!!"

  OK that last comment confirmed my thoughts. No one....I mean no one ever calls me 'chihuahua eyes' except my annoying sneaky brother "Chase!!!" I screamed as I jumped out of the bed and cuddled him so tight,I could bet he wasn't breathing fine.

   "I've missed you......"

  "I've missed you too Monkey.....did you grow shorter,I could swear you were taller when last I saw you" Chase said trying to tease me.

  "You never stop annoying me,well I guess my height shows you are not growing tall either"

  "Ohh shut up,my height has nothing to do with you Toad-ia....." Chase says laughing.

   "Will you stop calling me toad or frog,its irritating....." I said knocking him off with my pillow.

      "Oh my! I missed your fat ugly ass.....come here"

   And that's how we hugged over and over again, one thing you should know about siblings is you should never interfere in their quarrels/fights,they'd always find their way and get back together. I remember not being on Chase teasing side much cos I was the quiet one,it was always him and Tonia,she always had a response to his silly jokes but since she isn't here......I guess I'm stuck with him.

      I begged Dad to let me skip school today and guess what he said "You are skipping school today,but not the checkup this weekend.....no excuses princess!!"

    I know I really skipped my checkups,like I can't really remember the last time I had to meet with the doctor. Well thanks to wanting to stay with my loghead brother,I have to go this weekend. Amazing!

    "Its such a small town,why did mum's office relocate her here?" Chase asked.

   "I don't know, if they didn't relocate mum here then it would be another person....someone had to come work here for them and I guess it happened to be Mum"

   "I hope they are treating her well......."

   "Well if you ask me,I don't really know......I barely see her during the weekdays and she takes time to rest on weekends by staying in her room or going to the SPA,I guess that's enough treatment right?!" I said.

   "Wait,they have a Spa here??!" Chase said with his brows raised awkwardly 😏😅.

   So I was in my bedroom and I logged into my chatroom and saw a message,it was from Hailey🌹: 💬Hey Tan
                  💬You skipped school today,is everything OK?

Tan😈:💬I'm good,just needed some rest,I'll see you tomorrow.

   I scrolled through my chats for any other message but there wasn't any 'in particular' from a certain person. Okay fine you got me!, I wished Adrian would text me at least,probably a feedback of what happened last night when he picked his dad,I deserve to know something or at least ask why I'm not in school today,can he be at least caring a bit!

    Aarghh! I've been so carried away with his pretty face that I forgot what a jerk he could be at times,well he was sweet last night too......that makes him a sweet jerk! One text from him won't kill him,I hope he knows,I wonder why I'm acting this way,its not like we have anything together. While pondering and wondering in my thoughts,I got a text on my phone and I hurriedly checked but it was just a reply from Hailey saying: See ya tomorrow!

    I threw my phone on the bed in frustration, I thought it was Adrian who finally texted,he's proud and mean,what a jerk! I walked up to my mirror to tie up my hair and my eyes travelled to Adrian's window,his room was dark and still as it could be. No matter how mad I was at him,I was still worried__I hope he's okay.

    I spent the rest of my time on the internet,I was still checking Adolph Hitler's biography and from there I kept clicking on other pages and dived into Mary Slessor,George Washington and a lot of them. I needed a journal to write all what I was learning but I didn't have one but I could get one. So I wore a short blue dress and a denim jacket,tied my hair in ponytail style and wore my bracelet.

   As I stepped out of my room and went down the stairs,I alarmed Chase I was leaving the house and off I went.

    I decided to take a walk because waiting for a cab would be tiring. Well I got lucky while walking and saw a truck that offered to give me a lift,the driver was a farmer and he was going to the busy part of town. After driving for 15 minutes,we finally got into town,so there was a place like this and it wasn't that far from where i lived.

   "I would drop you here,the bookshop is just over there" the farmer described.

     "No problem, thanks for the ride"

   "I'm Farmer Ted__What's your name?"

        "Tania"

   "Okay Tania,see you around"

  I walked into the direction he described and I found the bookshop,i bought my journal and decided to take myself on a tour around town. While walking,I came across something that caught my attention, it was a daycare for kids and there was a guy the kids were playing with. They were having so much fun as they kept giggling, I was lost in the fantasy of the kids and whoever the guy was,he must really love kids.

    I started to wish for a baby sibling at that moment but that wasn't going to happen. The little kids rushed outside when they heard an ice cream truck,then the guy looking after them rushed with them.

    "OMG!!"

  Those were the words that fell off my mouth when i saw the guys face,what in the world!
