GAME ON
CHAPTER TWELVEIndeed, when it rains, it pours.
As I gazed my eyes around me where a lot of flyers are scattered, and as I took a glimpse and observe people's reaction after reading what is written in those flyers, siguradong isang tanong lang ang bumabagabag sa aming lahat.
Who is the culprit?
Kung sino man ang may-kagagawan ng lahat ng ito, he or she is obviously demanding for a war. It's no longer a prank or hoax. Dinawit na nito ang mga pangalan namin.
As I continue reading the content written on the flyer that Miguel handed to me, isa lang ang pumasok sa isip ko. It's a game on.
The whole content of the flyer deals with attacking me, Miguel, Kean, and Nathaniel for hiding something about the recent event that we tried to remain secret. We didn't honestly hide it just because we want to hide it. We only hid it for a while bago namin ipaalam sa mga estudyante since none of us is sure if what we found are legit human body corpses.
I mean, it's 2021 already and anyone now can have an access to high-quality technology that can make something looks believable despite it's a forgery. We didn't tell everyone because we don't want to spread irrational informations that can only create chaos. Of course, kailangan naming makasigurado.
Whoever did this, alam niya ang ginagawa niya. But the million-dollar question is, ano ba talaga ang pakay niya?
"What the hell!" himutok ni sir Topaz habang inangat nito ang flyer at ipinakita sa amin. Duh! I'm not blind you moron. Nabasa kona!
I honestly find his question dumb. Can't he see it? We're dealing with a brilliant psycho demanding a war! Whoever responsible for this will surely won't leave any trace para mahuli.
"Hindi ko pa po nakuha 'yung results. But from the looks of it, hindi na kailangan."
I know he knows that somehow Miguel was right. The fingerprint results is no longer necessary dahil sino ba namang tanga ang babangga sa mga tulad naming negosyante at magpapahuli just because they left a fingerprint. Kabobohan iyon!
"How about you, Cheryl? Anong result ng autopsy?"
Bago ako sumagot, kinuha ko muna ang aking cellphone and I send a message to the assigned pathologist regarding the results. I honestly forget about it.
It's a message from the coroner at matipid niyang sinagot ang message ko by sending me a picture of the results.
"Judging by your looks, it's positive," hula naman ni Miguel at matipid naman akong tumango.
" Wtf! Anong gagawin natin?"
This is a private school and it's out of the government's hand. Kung gugustuhin ko at kung papayagan ako, I'll buy this school right away para wala na 'tong problema si sir Topaz. I really want to buy this Academy ever since but now is not the perfect timing.
