Chapter 38: Together Again

TAEHYUNG'S POV

"Yah Chim!" I called out, tapping on his cheek to wake him up. The boy groaned and sat up from the couch. "Ouch~ My face hurts." He winced. Welp. If you hit your head at the side of the toilet seat, well yes. I Think that would hurt. Like a lot.

"I'll get you some ice for your bruise." Hobi hyung stood up and went to the kitchen to fetch it for Jimin. Jimin froze on his spot.

"W--Wa--What bruise?" He trailed off.

"Well you have a bi-" Kookie tried to explain, but I cutted him off before he could finish his sentence. "A BIT OF BRUISE! IT'S FINE!" I yelled out in panic; knowing how much he'll freak out.

"But hyung--" Jungkook tried to argue, but gave him a hint to not tell Jimin of the big bruise. So he decided to go with it. I sighed in relief. "Yep, a bit." He added, yet whispered; loud enough for me to hear, "A bit... A bit of face on a big bruise."

"What?" Jimin asked. Kookie smiled a sweetest smile then said 'Nothing' then turned around and stuck his tongue out cringing. This kid.

"You guys are weird." Jimin muttered in a tired voice. I just laugh it out and excused myself to go to my room where Loriel is. When I entered the room the girl was just sprawled out on the bed with a blank face making me stiffle a laugh.

"Hey."

"Oh hey Taehyungie." She replied, looking my way and taking her time to sit up on the bed. "How's Minie?" She asked. I raised an eyebrow at the endearment. "Minie?" I chuckled. Not really bothered by it; rather I'm curious as to why she chose that nickname.

"Oh you know," She had this mischievous smile on her face asshe spoke, "Minie as in Mini." She added. This girl--

"If he heard that he would be pissed." I told her, amused by the witty nickname.

"If he heard my voice I'm sure instead of being pissed, he'd faint." She shrugged. Touché.

"Well I can't deny that." I replied. "What should we do now?" I asked. Somehow, I can't still think of a reason to make this work; most especially since Jimin being able to see her was not part of the plan.

"We just have to make an agreement with the boys." She said, hopping off of the bed and walking towards me. "I'm sure it will work out just fine. Give it time and he'll get used to it." She added. I sighed and nodded, seeing that there's no other way to do it.

"Let's go." She cheered. I shake my head in disbelief as to how can she get so energetic at the moment.

We went out of the room and walked to where the boys are. Of course I had to hide Loriel behind me first just incase, so we can avoid another accident to happen. The amount of stress that Chim is having right now from all the events, including the injuries, is too much to take for a day.

"Guys, I need to talk to you about what happened today." I said to them. The boys looked my way with curious but scared eyes.

"I-Is she here?" Jin hyung asked. I bit my lip, but nodded anyway in response to his question. The boy gulped and fixed his composure, but failed to look brave.

"How did this happen?" Hobi hyung cutted in to the conversation. To my surprise he looks calm and collected right now than the others.

"Is she--" Jungkook mustered up the courage to speak, but wasn't able to finish his sentence. I already know what he wants to ask, so I spoke up in all honesty, "I honestly don't know. Even Loriel, is not sure that's why we wanted to know the truth." With that he pursed his lips and nodded in understanding.

"W-Where is s-she?" Jimin whimpered. I look back at Loriel and sighed. She just smiled softly and moved a bit so she'll be visible for the poor boy. Jimin's eyes widened and almost screamed but Jungkook took small towel on the table and plugged it in Jimin's mouth. "Don't shout you dumbass!" He snickered making the other give him a pointed look.

"Hey Jiminie." Loriel spoke softly with a smile on her face. Trying her best not to scare the boy. Jiminie moved closer to Hobi hyung for comfort making the boy roll his eyes. "Jimin you should see yourself. Imagine a grown ass man clinging at another grown ass man." He deadpanned.

"Okay, how about we tell them what happened?" Loriel suggested. I took that as a signal to explain what she said to the boys, especially since only Jimin can see and hear her.

~Time Skip~

By the time I finished explaining, all of them looked crestfallen. I guess they didn't expect the turn of events. Loriel just sat still beside me but she also looked sad seeing the boys' reactions.

"Okay. So who's up for helping Loriel?" Jin hyung suddenly said, almost immediately everyone raised their hands; even Jimin. Loriel sobbed beside me, I almost tried to hug her, but I know I can't. I sighed in frustration.

"What is it hyung?" Kookie asked.

"Loriel's crying." Jimin replied in my place. His words alarmed the boys, making them fidget in their place.

"Noona, stop crying~" Kookie said, trying to soothe the crying girl beside me.

"We will help you. We can make this work." Jin hyung added, his determination shined in his eyes.

"Loriel-sshi don't give up! We are here for you." Hobi hyung tried being cheerful despite the heavy atmosphere.

"Believe in us." Jimin muttered then smiled at Loriel, making her wipe her tears and nodded. I sighed in relief and grinned at her.

"Okay. Now that we are able to come up with an agreement we must make a plan to start investigating." I told them, which all of them agreed into. 

Then all of a sudden, Jin hyung's stomach growled.

"Also... Can we eat first? I'm seriously hungry. Don't worry. I'll cook." He chuckled.

With that, the day continued with us eating a very late breakfast and Jimin and Loriel bantering.
