Last week of summer

It's the last week of summer and I haven't gotten any thing on my 'Summer of 2k16 Bucket List' done!?!Lele what am I going to do!?? Well what's on your "list" then? Lele said in a sassy and sarcastic tone. As I'm freaking out about my "list" all Lele does is smile. She is so sarcastic.. I love her though, she has been my best friend since the day we met, the last 2 months of school, when my family had moved to California. Well first... I started.
1. Grow
2. Don't binge watch Netflix
3. Stay in shape for volleyball
4. Be tan/ be prettier.. -_-
5. Meet guy of my dreams
Number 5 is where she stops me. "Aaron.. What about Jake?" She she said kind of upset. Lele had been filled in on all the Jake info when she became my best friend and I was filled in on her Romeo info ;) . That's just how we work. "Jake and I .. Well after he... Ahhh" I sighed. Okay so after he came back we just weren't the same around each other I didn't see him as my boyfriend and he didn't see me as his girlfriend.. It was fine I knew someone so perfect couldn't go for someone who.. Was..well me. I was still heartbroken about it but I was strong and... Cried for weeks. Then you came in and helped me out of my dayz. I said to her trying not to sound upset. Aaron I know how it went.. I know how bad you felt I also have felt this way, it sucks but you have to get over him. Lele I am trying to that's why the guy of my dreams was on my list!?! I was starting to get a little mad. Lele threw her hands on my shoulders to get me to stop freaking out. Aaron you don't need to grow, and you are already gorgeous. Aaron you are already a perfect tan, you have beautiful deep blue eyes, you have amazing semi wavy dark brown hair. Sweetie you are perfect. Lele stated. Okay I understand that but really we have less then a month of summer and I have got to be better then last year..

The sun was warm but not hot as we walked around the boardwalk. I looked at Lele, he is beautiful. Tall, tan, dark brown eyes. She was perfect. We walked and talked, we joke with each other all the time. It was the end of summer party at the end of the week at the boardwalk and everyone we knew was going. Lele always tells me that end of summer parties are the best way to meet guys and new people. Hey maybe you'll meet "Mr. Right". She winked as she pushed me off the walk way. Yea right.. Okay oohw ima meet mr. Perfect the last week of summer.. I said upset but goofy. We kept walking and that's when Lele started to push me more so I shoved her pretty good and I couldn't figure out why she kept doing this. We were walking near a group of teens setting up for the party. I wasn't watching and Lele gave one last big hip bump sending me tripping over my feet trying to get my balance. I yelled her name hoping she would catch me. Just as I was almost to the ground, I felt hands on my arms. I had my eyes closed ready to hit the ground.

I opened my eyes to see not what I expected, thinking Lele grabbed me turned out to be a guy. I had a thousand thoughts going through my head. (Do I say hi? Do I thank him? To I get up and walk away?) Aaron!??!! Lele shouted out, but was pulled in the group to start helping. Aaron? Aaron. Hey are you okay? All I could see was a dark face because he was blocking the sun. Um yes I think I'm okay.. I said unsure and kinda confused. As we stood there in a dance move position looking like he was dipping me. I'm fine.. Uh thank you.. Uh who are you? I said confused by the cuteness. Hum oh me I'm Bryce . He said with a big smile. I must have been starring because he pulled me up and asked who I was... I know your name is Aaron but I don't think I've seen you around here. Bryce said with a huge smile. He was perfect, tall, at least 6'2, perfect bark blue eyes that made my heart almost stop. Same with his smile,perfect white teeth. He was perfect. Aaron? He said still holding my hands even though we are now standing up right. I blinked fast to snap out of the trans I was in. Yes I'm Aaron um I just moved here last March. Ooh okay so you finished the school year here right? Well I don't think I saw you in those last 2 months. He said with a cute little laugh. It made me think of the giggle I do after I say something stupid to a guy. In my head I was thinking " you are really cute I think I'm in love.. Aaron if you mess this up its your fault.. Not his.. Why? Cuz he's perfect and you are you." It's okay I giggled. He let my hands go. Um so.. I interrupted him.. do you want to come with me and get slushies? I mean only if you want to.. Bryce had a huge smile on his face again. Yes I would like that. Bryce said with his perfect smile. I was so excited, he was so cute I didn't know what to say, but I knew it was going to be amazing.

When we got to Mr. slushy at the far end of the boardwalk, we ordered our shushes and sat at a cute little red and blue striped table for two. I was lost in his eyes listening to him talk about living in California, and how I would get used to it since living in Minnesota for most of my life.After a while he stopped talking and had a shy smile. What did I miss?! Did he ask me a question!! Did I burp?!!.. What had happened. In total embarrassment I asked.. Wait what did you say!? He had a shy laugh, I just said this slushy is really good, do you want to try some? What are you supposed to say when a cute stranger offers you some of his slushy!? I hesitated for a while then said sure. It was pretty good, blue raspberry lemonade flavoring was sweet and sour. We laughed and talked for another two hours. The sun started to set as we walked back to where the others were setting up. He had a long stare going. I didn't notice right away. Then Lele came running over out of breath asking were I have been. Aaron we need to go. I told mom we would be back by 9, and its 8:45!? And it takes like 20 or more minutes to get back to my house and.. I cut her off. Yeah I know. We can go now, um I'll catch up. Lele stormed off. I turned to Bryce to see him with a sad yet really cute face. Why do you have to go? Can't you just stay here and I can walk you home after? My heart melted, I would love, I mean like staying here and help out but I really can't stay.. AARON! LETS GOO!! I'm so sorry.. I was so upset that I had to leave the one guy that I think I might like. Bryce turned to me and said. I understand that you have to go, probably have to get back to that boyfriend of yours.. I hope I get to see you again. As I ran back to Lele all I could think of is, he thinks I have a boyfriend, he's perfect, it was all just a dream. Lele smacked my arm when we got to the bus stop. What do you think you were doing?! How could you just leave me like that to be with some guy. Lele was not happy with me, but then as she noticed how upset and out of it I was she hugged me catching me off guard. I'm sorry Aaron, I shouldn't worry about what you did or where you went, I'm the one who got mixed up with everything and helping.. Who was the cutie? I couldn't think of anything to say, I just looked at her. Remembering why we are best friends. She had a huge smile just waiting to hear every word about the cutie from the boardwalk.

When we got back to her house her parents weren't home yet but we knew they would know we were out "to late". Lele I'm so sorry that now we are going to get in trouble because we were late and it's my fault because of that guy. Lele just looked at me with an evil smile on her face. I didn't know they were going to be this late getting home, but I knew we would probably beat them. Yes the doors are locked, but that doesn't mean something else isn't. She winked at me. I'm standing there cold and confused outside of her huge house trying to figure out what she's up too. Lele what are you doing?I couldn't see her anymore. I was quite but still yelling her name. LELE where are you?! I heard a soft whistle and ran to the side of the house where her room is but on the second floor. She looked at me and said after you. After you? I thought. After you? What as in this is how it goes down? This is how we get caught??? Um what do you mean I finally said. Lele just giggled and pointed. She always gets that mysterious side when she knows there could be trouble. The vines grew up the side of the house but it was pretty the way it grew, not just extra mess that they were to lazy to get ride of. She just looked at me, Aaron if you don't want to fight with my parents all night I suggest you climb. A cold breeze blew, it was cold for being August. I took a few deep breaths and started climbing. As soon as we crawled into the window landing on the floor with a loud bang. The front door closed hard. Quick Lele giggled act like you're asleep so they think we are the "good girls". Before I knew it I was fast asleep.
I was waken up by the wonderful smell of breakfast. I got up and went down stairs where Lele, her parents and her older sister. Her sister looked a lot like her and they were a lot alike, both loved taking their chances with getting into trouble yet never did. These two knew the ways of their parents, act good, do good, don't get into trouble, and be leaders never followers, (even thought the girls were still leaders they were just in a different way). When ever they talked to the girls about how good they are and how glad they are that they never get into trouble the girls sit there with evil smiles and look down.
