The next morning was a Saturday, so Severus paid no attention to the day of the week and woke up early to prepare his tea. A little while later, Harry woke up too.

"Good morning, Papa!" said Harry happily.

"Good morning, Harry," said Severus. "Would you like some tea?"

"No thank you, Papa. Daddy's still sleeping.... Papa?"

"Yes, Harry?"

"Why do you and Daddy fight so much?"

Severus nearly choked on his tea. "Well, Harry... your Daddy was not always very nice to me. Sometimes he would pull jokes on me. Mean ones. Then I would yell at him, and then... we'd be fighting."

"But why did he pull jokes on you?"

"I don't know, Harry. You'll have to ask your Daddy when he wakes up."

"Oh-kay...." Harry looked sullen. Severus wanted to cheer up his son, so he decided that he would teach Harry how to play Quidditch. Sure, he was never any good at it, but it would be fun for Harry to start off winning, right?

"Harry?" started Severus. "Would you like to play outside today?"

"Yes, please!" Harry clapped his hands.

"Once your Daddy wakes up, we'll go, okay?" said Severus.

"Yay!" cheered Harry. Harry could hardly sit still while he waited for James. James woke up about 10 minutes later.

"Morning, Harry!" he said. Harry raced into James's arms and they embraced. Harry had obviously forgotten his question for James, and Severus let out a sigh of relief.

"Sniv--Severus," greeted James.

"James," said Severus. "I'm going to teach Harry how to play Quidditch today. Would you care to join us?"

"I'd love to," said James, but inside his head he thought, "You? Teach Quidditch? Have you ever ridden a broom?"

Harry didn't seem to notice the tension, although it was so thick that you could run through it with a knife, and said, "Papa's let me play outside today!"

"Oh, is he really?" James acted surprised. Harry nodded. "Yes! I'm so excited!"

"I'm glad for you, Harry," said James. "And I can't wait to see you play. You will be awesome."

"Awesome!" Harry repeated, giggling. Severus smiled at the scene while sipping his tea, and then choked on his tea. Again. Harry noticed and asked, "Papa? Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine, Harry," Severus assured him, trying to catch his breath. "Just so you know, do not try to breathe tea. It's meant for drinking only." Both James and Harry laughed at Severus's joke.

"Let's go out now, before it gets hot," suggested Severus. James nodded, stood, and grasped Harry's right hand. Severus held his left one, and they left for the Great Lawn.

Most of the school stared at them; a three-year-old mini-James was holding James's hand, as well as Severus Snape's, and they were all smiling. The trio smiled so much and so genuinely that other people couldn't help but smile along with them. Their happiness was contagious, especially Harry's. Why, absolutely no one could look at Harry's goofy grin and happy demeanor without mirroring his expressions and emotions. He was complemented for being adorable. No on had a problem with Harry.

It was James and Severus that people had a problem with.

To start, they were both male. This wasn't a real accepting time, and this was considered near evil. But Severus and James couldn't care less.  They just smiled.

Harry's eyes widened as he saw the Quidditch pitch.

"Papa! Daddy! It's Padfoot!" said Harry, pointing. It was indeed Sirius who looked very happy to see Harry.

"Hey, Harry!" he smiled, flying down and landing beside the toddler.

"Padfoot! Papa's let me play outside, and I'm gonna play with you!" cheered Harry, rushing over and hugging Sirius's leg with all of his grip. Sirius smiled and hugged him back.

Remus was reading near the Forbidden Forest and he came over when he saw Harry with a grin.

"Moony!" yelled Harry, releasing Sirius to hug Remus's legs.

"Hey, Harry! Do you want to play Quidditch with us?" asked Remus. Harry nodded, obviously excited.

"We'll be on the ground, of course," said James. Severus agreed, adding, "He's only just about 3. I doubt flying would be safe for him."

"Papa, Daddy, I wanna be on Moony's team!" said Harry. Remus's face went pink. He had never been chosen first before.

Severus nodded and said, "Yes, Harry, you can be on M-Moony's team."

"And I want you too, Papa," said Harry, grasping a corner of Severus's robes. "And Padfoot and Daddy can be the other team! And I'm gonna win!"

"Now, I wouldn't be so sure of that, Harry," warned Sirius. "Your Daddy and I are very good."

Harry giggled and put his hands on his hips, saying, "I'm gonna beat you so much!"

Severus involuntarily shivered at Harry's use of words, but he tried to play off the movement by brushing his hair out of his eyes. James noticed and silently gulped, averting his eyes from Severus's.

"No, I am!" joked Sirius.

"You're gonna lose, Padfoot!" said Harry with a smirk and an unmistakable James-like flourish.

"Should we get started?" interrupted Remus. Harry looked up at him and grinned wider. "Yeah!"

James grabbed a Quaffle, leaving the Bludgers and the Snitch in the case, and he handed it to Harry. Harry smiled, aimed, and threw the Quaffle. Sirius jumped to block--in the other direction. Harry laughed when he scored.

"Siri, have you been confunded?" teased Remus, stowing his wand back into his pocket.

"Hey!" said Sirius, still smiling.

"I'm gonna win!" Harry took off running for the other goals, and Sirius chased after him. Remus ran after both of them, passing the Quaffle back to Harry whenever he dropped it. James and Severus stood, smiling, and stared at the trio playing and laughing.

"He's really special, isn't he?" asked Severus.

"Who, Sirius? Yeah, he's something, I guess," replied James jokingly.

"No, Harry, you git!" said Severus, still watching Harry play.

"Hey, Prongs!" yelled Sirius. "I need some backup! Harry's really good!"

James chuckled and rushed over there, Severus on his tail. They played until Harry alone had scored 15 goals, and Sirius, only one.

Harry sat on the grass, still giggling. He wiped the sweat from his face with the back of his hand and smiled as Severus sat beside him.

"I love you, Papa," he said, resting his head on Severus's chest. Severus was only taken aback for a second before replying, "I love you too, Harry."

James plopped down beside them both, and Harry said, "I love you, Daddy." "I love you too, Harry," responded James.

"Hey, Prongs," said Remus, walking up to his friend. "Padfoot and I are gonna go to Hogsmeade. You wanna come with? We could bring Harry to Zonko's."

"Yeah!" Harry sat up with renewed energy. "Papa, Daddy, let's go!"

"All right, come on," said Severus, standing and grasping Harry's hand. James held his other hand, and they followed Remus and Sirius into the village of Hogsmeade.
