part 3: the bathroom

the conversations died down. it seemed that only when they grew closer, the conversations around them grew with them. they knew their relationship would cause more attention than they wanted, which they both weren't prepared for - you would probably think the opposite. aspen rose her hand, kylin blushed just at aspen's voice, even if the words coming out of his mouth were 'can i go to the toilet?'. kylin was still feeling the thrill of earlier that lesson, so she waited minutes which felt like years, and eventually put her hand up to say 'please may i go to the toilet?'. kylin made her way to the restroom, and walked in, seeing aspen fixing her hair in the mirror, making eye contact with kylin with a deepful stare. aspen continuing to fix her hair says, 'couldn't help yourself could you?' and kylin says 'can you blame me?', aspen being the ego centric person she was, replies with 'of course not'. kylin had always been most attracted to aspen's confidence and love for herself, she was dominant and powerful, kylin liked that. there was silence and heavy sighs from both of them. aspen gulps and innocently queries 'so what are you doing tod-' kylin takes charge, not being able to help herself, she passionately pulls aspen closer to her, cutting her off, making out with her. she pushed her against the back of the bathroom wall, then into a bathroom stall, and they kissed as if this would be the last time they saw each other again. it was sweet, but sad how they had to conceal their love by then shouting 'lesbian' at any other girl who even stares at each other, and incredibly disrespectful. they unhooked their belts and began unzipping their trousers, aspen asks 'are you sure about this?' and kylin smirks, and gets back to what she was doing...

later after they've finished, they both fix their appearances before returning to the classroom, in canon. aspen goes first, and kylin taking charge again suggests 'why don't we just go in together? it isn't the end of the world if people think we're together...'. aspen unsure, says 'i love you but you know how i feel about this..', kylin's heart throbs, then she gulps and then whispers 'prove it', and aspen takes a deep breath and they both walk in together, simultaneously, as they've longing to have been for ages. jaws drop, gentle whispers sent around the classroom, but aspen and kylin don't seem to pick up on it because they're both smiling outside the window in their seats happy with the confidence they found to express their love, even if it was an implied one.
