-Grace-
"How the fuck can birds fly? I mean look at them, they are fucking huge" Jaime said and pointed up as a swarm of birds passed us on the night sky. We were located on the balcony that was attached to my room. He leaned our backs to the wall and looked up in the sky. It was so dark and beautiful, you could see every little star on the entire sky. I inhaled the smoke from the joint and passed it to Jaime, who still looked up in the sky.
"Dunno" I just said as I exhaled the smoke and created a big cloud in front of my face. The weed made me relax in some weird way. Jaime let out a laugh as he exhaled his smoke. "What?" I asked him and took the joint from his hand and placed it between my index finger and thumb, ready to take another puff.
"This is fucked up, Irwin. How could I not notice you before? Just look at you, you are fucking hilarious and moments like this makes me feel like a crazy teen again, and I love it" He said and looked over to me, his eyes were a bit red and his eyelids was falling. His smile was weak, but I saw that it was real, and that made me happy.
"You were a douce before you met me, that's why" I whispered and took another puff.
"Yeah" He whispered and returned his eyes to the sky. We stayed like that just talking all about our lives and other random stuff and I really enjoyed just talking, without any actual meaning.
"You know what?" He said and I mumbled as answer. "I'm hungry, we should get something to eat."
"Me and my brother lives alone, we don't have any food" I chuckled. He stood up and dragged me so I stood beside him. He opened the door and walked back into my room.
"Then we have to go get some" He said and motion for me to get inside, so I did. I locked the balcony door behind me and crossed my arms and looked at Jaime.
"You can't drive anywhere, you're high as the fucking Eiffel tower." I said and my example made him laugh.
"Let's just look in the fridge, shall we?" He said, still laughing.
"Fucking idiot" I mumbled and gave in and walked out from my room, with Jaime following me. We had to be quiet, so Ashton wouldn't notice us. When we entered the kitchen, I opened the fridge while Jaime was looking through the cabinets. "Aha! found some bread" Jaime said and held up a loaf of bread, high in the air like it was some kind of a trophy. I pulled out some butter and a few slices of ham and put it down beside the bread on the counter.
Jaime decided to make some hot chocolate while I made the sandwiches. We sat down by the island and dug in, I didn't realize how hungry I actually was until I took the first bite. Jaime told me that the weed makes you extra hungry but I always craved food so I wasn't even surprised of my hungriness. "Who was that other guy anyways?"
"What?" I asked, surprised by the question coming out of nowhere.
"The other guy from before, who is he?" He asked again, taking a big bite from his sandwich.
"Calum, he's my brothers best friend" I casually answered.
"Well, that Calum couldn't take his eyes off of you the whole time we watched the film, and I saw you giving him one or two looks back actually." Jaime said. I didn't even notice it in that way, I could feel my cheeks heat up, I didn't know why, I never brush. "I think he likes you, because Grace, friends doesn't look at each other in that way" He continued. I awkwardly coughed and let out a small laugh, trying to cover up that I was getting nervous.
"You called me Grace?" I asked when I noticed it, not even processing what he just told me. "I honestly thought you forgot my first name" I laughed a bit but he just responded me with more silence. It was like he didn't even hear me, just focusing on what to say next.
