Chapter 1: Bumping into Niall

Alicia's POV.

I woke up to my alarm clock of the familiar tune of "More Than This" by One Direction. Today was the big day of my audition for the voice. I peered over at my wall to see all of the One Direction posters. Ok, yes, I was a big fan of One Direction. I went over to my bathroom to get ready. After I took my shower I blow- dried my dark curly hair, and put on some makeup. Just the usual, I put on some concealer, blush, eyeshadow, and mascara. As I walked into my walk-in closet, I pulled out a flowery dress to wear with some sandals. I grabbed my purse, a water bottle, and some toast on the way out of my apartment. Yes, I live on my own in an apartment, I'm 19, a sophomore at college, and I don't wanna stay in the dorm. I walked to the audition, since it was right across the street. When I got there, I was really nervous, because there was a long line of people waiting to audition. I checked my phone and saw I had 2 missed calls from Holly, my best friend. I smiled, she always knew how to make me feel better. While checking my instagram on my phone, I walked over to the bathroom, not paying attention to where I was going. I bumped into somebody and fell to the ground. 'Great. What a perfect way to start the day.' I thought. I slowly got up and reached out for a hand that said in a familiar voice. "Sorry about that, love. You here to audition?" I knew that voice from anywhere. As I looked up my heart melted. Niall Horan was standing right in front of me.
