She sat down and averted her eyes away from me. I hated that she felt guilty. I didn't know why but every time I saw Ebony I wanted to kill her. When we fought on the rooftop at Lake Town I had been captivated by her. She was dishonorable and evil but beautiful and skilled. Now she was saying she wanted to protect the ring. But there was only one reason she was here. To take the ring back to her father. If she was smart then she would surrender herself to us and let us kill her to spare her the suffering but there was something else in her eyes that made me think she really did want to help Frodo. Arwen also seemed to have given her her trust which I didn't like, it wasn't easy to fool an elf and maybe she was telling the truth. As the council began I started to reflect on her. Maybe she wasn't evil, but I still hated her.
