The Day of Parlay

Two hours after leaving Tsunade's office, Naruto was found himself standing in front of a large gate that guarded a rather large compound. Though Naruto's first instinct was to bolt through the gate, he decided to force this instinct down so he could better analyze the outside of the gate to ensure that he was in the right location. Doing this, Naruto was able to spot a symbol that he was already familiar with since it was stitched into the fabric of many of the Leaf Ninja's clothing. 

Since Naruto already knew that the swirl that he saw on the clothing of many Ninja was to honor a Clan that was once allied with the Leaf but due to being driven to extinction, this alliance quickly dissipated. Seeing this symbol etched into the gate that guarded the compound within, Naruto now assumed that this extinct Clan was somehow related to him. 

"Why is it that I wasn't ever told about who my family really is? What could anyone truly gain from keeping this knowledge from me?" Naruto questioned to himself as he brought out the key that Tsunade had given him from his pocket.

Before Kurama was able to respond to the words that Naruto had spoken, a mission screen popped up in front of Naruto. 

New Mission Acquired: The Secrets of the Uzumaki. 

Mission Details: Your past is surrounded in mystery, do all that you can to unveil the secrets of your family and Clan.

Requirements: Complete. 

Rewards: You will have access to your family history and Jutsu. 

Failure: The secrets of your family will stay hidden from you.

Accept: Yes/No.

After reading the mission screen that had given Naruto his newest mission which happened to be one that was quite important to him since he had always felt alone within this world since he was raised as an orphan, Naruto knew that nothing would keep him from completing this mission. With this determination flooding through his veins, Naruto quickly accepted the mission as well as closed out the screen. 

Once this was done, Naruto finished unlocking the gate that was keeping him from entering into his family home. From the creaking sound that echoed out around them, Naruto could tell that the gate was going to need some maintenance to ensure that it wouldn't later become a hinderance for them. 

Now that nothing was stopping him from entering the property, Naruto waved for Maris to follow him which the green haired male quickly did. 

As soon as he passed the threshold of the gate, Naruto could see that the last sixteen years without upkeep had caused the compound to fall start breaking down. Though Naruto was quite thankful to have the property that he should have grown up in back into his hands once more; he was upset that he would have to wait even longer before he could live within it due to the repairs that would need to happen. 

Even though he wouldn't be able to stay inside of his new home for the time being, Naruto still decided that it would be worth it to explore and see if he would be able to find anything that shed light on his past which is what forced his legs to start making their way towards the entrance of his family home.

While Naruto was within his family home, he was able to find some items that he believed would be of use to him and whether or not that they could shine light on his past; he was still thankful that something was left behind by his parents that he could treasure. Two of the items that he had now clutched against his chest were books and though he hadn't peeked inside, Naruto felt a connection from them. While the last item that he brought back along with him was a kunai that was strangely designed.
