"Going down! 150,000 feet to crash landing!"
As the altitude meter kept scrolling down, the captain of the ship, flying high up in the sky, yelled, "Protect the science experiments! That's all we need!" The crew shouted out, "Yes, captain!" The crew scrambled to send the science experiments (and themselves) into the escape pods. One member shouted, "Captain, we'll have to send the experiments somewhere else! We have two pods, and we'll all have to fit in one, since the other one is occupied by the experiments!"
The alarm sounded as the altitude meter yelped out numbers. 100,000 feet. 90,000 feet. 80,000 feet.
A crew member shouted, "Hey! Captain! Get in here, god damn it! We need to go!"
The captain shouted back, "I'll go in the other one. How else will we eject it?"
"No! Captain, we need you!"
"Fine, let me get the robot out. He'll eject the experiments. Robot!"
A small robot walked in. In a metal voice, the robot asked, "What, Master?"
"When I get in the pod, eject both of the pods. Got it?"
As the altitude meter screamed, "25,000 feet", the robot nodded.
"Alright! I'm in! Eject!" the captain screamed. The whole crew screamed. At this point, they thought they would die.
The robot ejected the pods. The altitude meter kept screaming, as the pods were flying off somewhere. The captain was looking out the window, watching his 2-month long experiments flying away.
10,000 feet. 5,000 feet. Collision in 3, 2, 1...
The ship had been totally demolished, and the experiments were flying away. And all the crew could do was watch it all burn.
