Sophomore year was over. So was summer vacation.

Allison had been in France, and in all of that time, she hadn't said anything to Marley. She hadn't apologised she stabbing her and Isaac. She at least wanted that.

Lydia had been fully informed of the whole werewolf criteria. Marley was surprised that she was actually quite chill with it all and understood everything almost immediately. Quicker than Marley anyway.

Stiles and Scott were back to their usual weirdness. Scott was pretty bummed about Allison but Stiles was there to add a little flavour. They hadn't been on any supernatural adventures in a while, which was always a breeze.

Isaac and Marley had been dating for four months, going strong. Everyone knew they would. Neither had actually said the words 'I love you' to each other. Of course they'd said 'love you' when ending a phone call or at the end of the day, but it had a completely different meaning. It was just like what you'd say to your grandparents when leaving after visiting them.

In the last week of Summer Vacation, Isaac had gone somewhere with Derek and Peter and not come back. They were out searching for Erica and Boyd who were missing. There was no immediate rush (expect from Marley) to find Isaac, seen as he was a werewolf and could most likely cope on himself. But by the fourth day gone, they started to get worried. Derek was paranoid as ever. Marley couldn't stress enough about where Isaac was. She seemed to be the only person who actually cared.

She barely left the house, only on some occasions if necessary, since he thought she had no reason to. Maybe if Isaac did come back, he would turn up at her door, so she wanted to be there when he did.

Everyone had been trying to get Marley involved with things, but they couldn't.

Scott wanted to ask her to go get a tattoo with him but Stiles put things into perspective: "Marley's not really in the mood to get a tattoo right now. Unless she wants one that says 'my werewolf boyfriend is missing'"

Lydia talked to Allison about going on a double date with her but: "I was gonna ask Marley to go with me but, y'know. Isaac's gone A wall."

So Marley kept to herself and waited for Isaac.

...

"I'm here to see someone," Marley said as she grabbed onto the desk.

She had received a call on the way to school from Melissa. It said that Isaac arrived at the hospital the other night and people could now see him. Marley practically ran to the hospital and didn't stop.

"Name and relation," the lady said.

"Isaac Lahey," Marley rushed. Her chest rose and fell quickly as the air around her closed in.

"Room 215."

Marley barely had anytime to mumble a 'thank you' and she sped down the hospital. She was use to being in a hospital since her brother usually ended up there, either from lacrosse or just being an absolute idiot. So, finding her way to the right room was more than easy.

"212, 213, 214," Marley whispered as she counted past the rooms, then- "Isaac!"

The door was wide open, showing Isaac laying on a blue hospital bed. His arms were threaded through a gown but opened to show his chest and torso. He looked up as Marley ran through.

"Holy shit, where the hell have you been?" Marley exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Isaac put his arms around his girlfriend as much as he could, one arm restricted from medical wires.
