Usually, Yumi preferred going up the main stairs to reach her Earth Science class, but today she wanted to try something new.
She took the stairs closest to the second years' classrooms.

She enjoyed looking at the older male students of Skyline Academy. They were quite the sight.

Finally, Yumi reached her class.
Like usual, students were separated into their different friend groups, chatting about who-knows-what.

Yumi removed her bag and set it on the hook of her desk.
She obtained all of her necessary items to take notes.

The teacher, who Yumi didn't like much, made this class a living hell for her.
She liked picking on her by calling her up to read daily papers on Japan's environment.

The teacher was familiar with Yumi's anxiety, but she didn't care.
For no particular reason, she didn't like Yumi. The feeling was mutual.

"Good Morning, Miss Nakazawa. I assume you are prepared for today's reading." The teacher towered over Yumi's desk.

"I suppose." Yumi mumbled with fury.

She pushed her chair back, causing the whole class to go to their seats.
They knew what time it was.

"Good Morning, Class." Yumi said in a monotone voice.

The class replied with a Good Morning.

"Today's reading states that a Group of volunteers helped clean up a local park." Yumi said.

"Ah Ah- Miss Nakazawa. Read it in verbatim." The teacher demanded.

"My apologies."

Yumi read, word for word, as directed.

"Thank you. Now, have a seat." The teacher directed.

Yumi slammed the paper on the teacher's desk.

She paced back to her desk and opened her notebook.

"Ok class, today we will begin by discussing Plate Tectonics. Steer your direction to the chalkboard."
The teacher stated.

Class, as usual, was boring. Yumi managed to take down every ounce of information she sought valuable in her notes.
They were in neat arrangements for her to later come back to.

The bell dismissed the students of room 2B to prepare to leave.
Suddenly, the teacher's phone rang, but the students continued leaving.

"Yes. Yes. Ok." The teacher mumbled into the phone.
"W-wait- class. Please go back to your seats."

Everyone groaned and slummed back into their chairs.

"I've received word of an incident in room 4C, so we have to stay here for a while." The teacher reported with a pale face.

"What happened?" A couple of students asked simultaneously.

"Uh- um... I think it would be best if I didn't say." The teacher bit her bottom lip and frowned.

But the students were determined to know.
"Fine, if you must know, a student attacked a teacher..." The teacher said grimly.

Students gasped and whispered.
"Why?" Yumi blurted. She was intrigued.

"I'm not sure, but I can't let you kids go until the student is properly detained."

Yumi thought.
What could have made this student kill a teacher?

"Um- Miss? I have one more question." Yumi asked again.

"Yes?" The teacher leaned against her desk.
"What was the attack like?"
