I'm different, but I'm not special.
I'm different. I'm nothing like others. I believe in vampires that live amongst humans that don't kill to get fed. I believe in wandering spirits that we don't see. I believe in things that most people wouldn't. I may be different, but I'm not special. I have raven black hair with a bluish tinge in it, but something was different. My eyes were a unique colour but I didn't think I was special. I had violet eyes, like the colour of amethyst. It was faint violet that almost looked like a smoky grey. I also think that I'm not special because I'm just that girl in school that nobody knows. I don't stand out. I'm not pretty, at all.I'm hidden in the shadows, my thoughts are dark, so are most of my feelings. People might think I'm stupid to believe in vampires and spirits, I don't care because that's who I am.
When I was younger, I read. All I did was read. Read about fantasies and vampire romance novels. That was all I would do in my childhood. I read. Even now that I'm older, I still cherish my precious memories of my older books to remind myself of who I am. I see things differently. I know things that they don't. I was far more independent than people my age.
I want to take psychiatry to help cure others' health problems. Maybe to cure some of the craziness out of me.
I always had a world of my own. I daydreamed during class, all I did was think, if my books weren't there. I believed in vampires, spirits, myths.
I'm Iris Simon. I'm different, but I'm not special.
