I watched as Elinor ran through the parted crowd her heartbreak clear as day. Aragorn spotted her and made eye contact with me, concern deep in his eyes. Arwen looked over too and saw that she was missing. She went to leave Aragorn but I insisted she stayed. They had been apart for to long to be separated now. I found Gimli sitting by the ail tankards. He didn't notice her absence as he wiped the foam of his beard with his sleeve. There was elvish wine which was bought by Elrond but was seemingly untouched by the men and Gimli. I took a glass and poured the rich liquid into it. I took a sip and let it intoxicate my body. I had lost the love of my life.
