After bringing everyone back I got closer with Natasha. She was broken after what happened at Vormir after losing Clint she was in pieces and I couldn't help her. It killed me to know there was nothing l could do.
All the avengers were sitting in the living room when Nat and I walked in. She sat down and she was nearly in tears. It had been 2 years since we lost Clint and she was still tearing herself apart over it, no one else noticed that she was almost crying no one but me, no one ever noticed.
"Hey Nat can I talk to you" I said softly while standing up
She wiped her tears and followed me outside.
"What's up" I said looking at her bright green eyes
"Nothing" she said with a soft smile "I'm fine"
"No. No your not" I quickly replied while shaking my head slightly "your not ok. Your sitting in there almost in tears"
"Y/n I said I was fine so just let it go" she said getting pissed and turning her back to me
"Nat I care about you I need to know your ok"no said grabbing at her arm
She turned back around and threw my hand off her She looked me dead in the eye
"You don't know, you don't understand" she said with tears filling her eyes "you don't understand how could you? Your daddy's little girl everything you want you get handed to you you have a family you have your best friend. Ok I don't"
"Really" I snapped while tears start to fill my eyes "I'm daddy's little girl? I bet you didn't know that he isn't my dad I bet you didn't know that my friend killed herself I bet you didn't know that I don't have any other friend I bet you didn't know that I'm working two jobs and I'm in collage trying to be a doctor I bet you didn't know that when Tony is out flying around risking his life and scaring the absolute shit out of Morgan I'm the one there holding her telling her it'll be ok. You didn't know any of that did you?"
Nat looked down at her feet the shifted her focus to my eyes, my eyes were full of tears I couldn't hold them back not even tony knew any of this, he doesn't even know I'm in collage no one but Nat knows.
"Y/n I'm sorry" Natasha said looking to her right
"Before you try saying that I don't understand how about you know my story know what I've been through then question if I understand" I said trying to calm myself
"Look Nat I care for you and I hate seeing you like this" I said looking at her eyes once again "I need to know your ok I can't lose anyone else"
"Y/n..... I'm ok I just need time" Natasha replied softly
"You don't need time Nat you need to face that he's not coming back" I said while grabbing her hands
Her hands were now in mine while we were both staring into each other's eyes
"Y/n please don't tell me that this is already hard enough"
"Nat it's true you need to face it"
"What happened to your friend" she said tilting her head
"She hung herself" while looking away to hide my tears Nat wrapped her arms around me and hugged me
We were now standing in the meeting room with tears in our eyes and our arms wrapped around one another. Nat let go and stared in my eyes for about a minute before pulling me towards her and kissing me.
