(A dream. So very quiet and peaceful. I never want to leave it. The smell of cherry blossoms and evergreen trees wafted to my nose. My hand in another’s. I slowly turn my head and see Andrew Biersack. “I finally found you.” He said with a menacing grin. He leans in closer and our lips are about to brush. I can feel the warmth of his breath. “WILLOW ALICE BLACK! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING! AND WHO THE HELL IS THIS!” I was pulled to my feet and into a cruel, alcohol soaked world. My Andy was nowhere in sight. I was in a barren wasteland with non-other than my mother and father. “ANSWER ME YOUNG LADY!” my father spat. No I mean literally. I wiped the liquid off my pale face. “I was just laying with Andy.” I say quietly. “DON’T LIE TO YOUR FATHER AND I.” I turned to walk away. This was my dream. I can do what I want. There was a hand on my bicep. “WHERE ARE YOU GOING?” I turn only to come face to hand with my clawed mother. I felt the nails dig into my skin. The burned hand print stayed as she removed her hand.)
I awoke in a panting sweat. My face hurt. I stood and walked to the bathroom. Turning to the mirror I saw a bruise on the left side of my cheek accompanied by five little cuts like nails. The pungent smell of alcohol fill the house. A sign that my parents were here. I look at the clock. 5:30. The bus would be here in an hour, so I thought it was enough time for a shower and makeup.
When I was done with the morning routine thing I made my way to my bedroom door with my bag when I took a look at my calendar and noticed two things on today’s date. BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! And BVB CONCERT!!!!!<3 When I saw that I did a little dance and ran downstairs.
When I made it to the stop I pulled out my phone and played music. I quietly hummed to the melody of Black Veil Brides, Falling in Reverse, and Slipknot. As I saw the bus turn the corner I stood up. But the big yellow germ pool drove right past me without even slowing down. I pulled my hood over my short black/brown hair and closed my brown eyes.
I started on my long walk to the hell society calls school. I turned the music’s volume up to full power. I do believe that passer byes could hear it. A smile spreads on my face as I get a weird look from an old man on his porch. That’s when I noticed a person standing next to me. He was tall and dresses all in black. But I couldn’t see his face. There was a motorcycle helmet on his head. “Excuse me miss but shouldn’t you be in school?” he asked. I looked at the time. 8:36. “SHIT!!!” I said which caused him to laugh. “Need a ride?” he offered me, pointing to his Harley bike. I had no choice, if I wanted to get to school any time soon I was going to have to get on a bike with a strange man whose face I couldn’t see.
I finally got to the school and I was so fucking late. Missed my first two classes. There was no point in being there for the rest of the day. So I got off the strangers bike and made my way to the forest in the back of the school. Footsteps follow me, I assumed it was the man so I didn’t turn around. I walked until I got to the clearing. It was so quiet and peaceful. I was breathing in the clean air when I was interrupted. “HEY FAGGET!” I turn to see Jack and Charlie. The two boys had been menaces to me since 6th grade. They both were broad football players with platinum blond hair. “Ha-ha, yah. Hey faggot.” They were fucking tweedle Dee and tweedle dumb. Charlie always repeated Jack. No matter what, Charlie was always following Jack. There are even stupid rumors that they lost their virginity in the same week. (If you ask me, I think they lost it to each other.)
“Shouldn’t you dim whits be in school?” I said back with calmness. “We could ask you the same thing, sociopath.” They were making fools of themselves. Not sure they could even spell sociopath. “Why do you care? For all you know, you could have taken some bad Xanax and I could be a mirage.” I pitched. Charlie looked scared and turned to Jack. “Well if you’re a mirage, I can do this…” Jack reached up and grabbed my breast. “Don’t touch me you perv.” I shouted. But he just moved his other hand to my other breast. “STOP!!!” but with the seclusion I had no hope of rescue. And no one would help anyways. I’m the one that everyone picks on, everyone’s ‘punching bag’. “Hey Charlie, I got an idea. Hold her down.” Jake commanded. And Charlie, being the brainless idget he is, obeyed. Was pushed to the ground and before I could move, Charlie was holding my arms and Jack was ripping my jeans off. He then started to unbuckle he pants. “Well, well. Let’s see if the emo’s good in the sack?” he then tried to lift my shirt when there was a miracle. “What do you think you’re doing?!?” a new voice shouted. I looked up to see the mystery man who gave me a ride home. I was lightly smiling through my tears. The two boys, after seeing the new man, ran away from the scene. “Are you ok?” he asked. I nodded but I was definitely the exact opposite.
I was shaking. The feeling of his hands lingered. But I was glad that I was saved by the guy whose face is still a secret. The man proceeded to help me off the ground and handed me his leather jacket. It held a smell. Kind of sweet but at the same time, there was a musky secant. I liked it. My crying had stopped but I was still shaking. When I bent down to pull up my pants, I heard the stranger shuffle. Almost like her was leaving. He was in fact walking away. “Wait!” I grabbed his arm. “Don’t leave. I don’t want to be alone.” There was a laugh. But not a full laugh. Only a chuckle. He reached up to take off his helmet. “I assumed you were coming with me.” There in front of me stood The Ashley Purdy.
