KING REKI- sk8 the infinity

Chapter 5

One swings a punch and it hits him square in the jaw.

It hurts, but it feels nice in a way.

He takes one hit, then another, and starts to laugh.

They all pause for a moment, "what's so funny!" Reki answers him by punching him in the face, knocking them over.

The guys get a new sense of confidence, knowing that he can't beat them 4 against one. But Reki is determined to try, knocking one to the ground.

Then another.

Then the last one.

They lose their confidence if that wasn't clear.

Reki excuses himself happily, shuffling down and out of the alley, his lip bleeding and face bruised. Yet he's smiling, grinning from ear to ear. Even skipping a little going past all of the people giving weird looks at him.

Before getting on the road he hops on his skateboard, skating in zig zags, doing ollies, little spins. He didn't know why he brought it until now.

The speed limit is low in this area for the local skateboarders so he should be fine. But the adrenaline from the fight delays his reaction time.

Not by much, just enough to be hit by a car.

He jolts up in a bed.

It's not his.

It's ocean themed.

Why is it ocean themed?

Where is he?

Who is that?

WHO IS THAT???

A man stands near the bed looking so professional it's scary. This is not the type of man you'd expect to be staying in an ocean themed love hotel room, but rekis not one to judge.

He starts to walk over when he see's Reki get up. "I only hit you at 13 mph so it should only leave a bruise or two. You were already bruised however so here's this. If this gets out in the papers my boss will be upset at me."

What a kind thing to wake up to, today's been a good day.

First he gets beat up (but he won so he can't complain really), then a man hits him with his car, then that man kidnaps him maybe? He's not entirely sure. Then he takes him to a love hotel and pays him to not sue him.

If nothing else it's been exciting.

He knows he can't accept the money though. Not without his mom and sisters asking him about it. What's he to say then 'I got in a fight and won but then got hit by some old rich dudes car so he took me to a love hotel and paid me off to not sue him.'

I mean.... It is what happened so like, he kinda could. But he's not going to.

"I'm not going to sue you it's fine. Now how do I get out of here." Reki stands up and opens the door to the bathroom.

ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew no please god get me out of here.

The man comes up behind him "you've never been to one of these places before huh?"

YOU THINK???

Reki tries to calm himself down as the man looks at him trying to figure out something. "Oh... you're the redhead." He says, his voice unwavering as if the hesitation was on purpose. "What?"

"You should quit skating."

Alright I know at least one of my friends is reading this and hasn't watched the show so this is where it stops being cannon. (Also hi and ily flesh wife)

When I watched the show I wasn't sure why the love hotel scene was necessary but like, now that I've worked it in as a big turning point I get even less. Also I listened to nothing but Oh no! By Marina and the diamonds while editing this and it shows.
