Gulf's stomach dropped at the deep voice that seemed to cut through the noise, demanding all attention. Gulf's eyes widened in a strong mix of fear and lust. He craved the low cadence of the alpha's words, the tone and inflection pushing something deep within him, a primal side that he hesitated to embrace. Thank heavens Sam was here in their presence, so Gulf didn't do something stupid such as run into Mew's arm demanding to be ravished. Butterflies erupted in his stomach at the thought, and he tried to shake away the traitorous idea. He couldn't get involved with this family. They would ruin him. Ruin his baby.

"Figure what out, Gulf?" Mew asked firmly, repeating his question.

"Now Master Mew..."

Mew's eyes flitted to Sam for a brief moment before landing back on Gulf, "leave us Sam."

"But Lady Jom-"

"And who do you serve Sam, Jom or the Jongcheveevat family in which I'm the sole heir?"

"The Jongcheveevat family, sir."

"Good then leave us and tell Jom to stop meddling."

"As you wish, Master Mew" Sam muttered respectfully before bowing and walking briskly from the hall.

Mew's eyes slid from Gulf to the door and back, "you've yet to invite me in or answer my question."

Gulf's voice seemed to disappear as he struggled to form a sentence in the alpha's presence.

"I'm not required to answer your questions and I don't want you in my home" Gulf replied, the lie slipping off his tongue as he regained his composure.

Mew's eyes narrowed, "so you would rather us discuss this out here in the open where anyone can hear?"

"We have nothing to discuss" Gulf turned his back on the alpha and unlocked his door.

He jerked in surprise when a rough palm came down on his shoulder and lips settled close to his ear, "we have many things to discuss Gulf."

Gulf whimpered, a strange flutter in his stomach as his eyes clenched shut tightly. He needed to get away from this alpha, the temptation was too great.

"I'd like you to leave", Gulf managed to gasp aloud.

"Would you really?" Mew breathed his nose caressing the sensitive nape of his neck leaving goosebumps with every pass.

"Y-yes..."

Mw chuckled, "you don't sound very convincing omega. Let me in" he suggested as the press of his teeth against Gulf's skin caused a soft moan to escape his lips.

The strange flutter in his stomach grew stronger the more Mew spoke and Gulf struggled to tear away from the presence at his back, but it was hopeless. Gulf opened the door and guided them through the opening to his apartment and was instantly turned and pushed lightly against the wall as the door click shut with finality. There was no turning back now. The alpha was in his home.

Mew's nose pressed against the bend of his neck breathing in deeply, "you smell so good, even sweeter than the last time."

Gulf was speechless, unable to even move as he got his own whiff of Mew's earthy scent.

"I've been searching for you" Mew continued.

Gulf's scoff turned into a gasp, "not awfully hard apparently. It seems your butler found me quite easily."

"I was unaware Sam new your location until just now. At every turn there were obstacles. Your record at your recent employer was completely erased and talking to your ex-coworkers was not very fruitful. They called me alpha scum and refused to speak to me."
