Afterwards - Saiouma // After V3 ending

Their first night

A fresh breeze paired with a friendly sunshine on their hair, the ending of this collective nightmare came.

- Well... I guess it's all over now huh..?
Shuichi said, eyes fixed at the sky, he just couldn't believe not only this all happened, but that they survived.
The other girls also were feeling a bit weird, but in a good way, just like Shuichi.

As they walked around the area, they started really doubting all of the sayings Tsumugi has spit on their faces on the last couple of hours.

- Now that i think about it, most of it were lies, but it all had a little of truth in them...
- Uhm... Maki? what d'you mean?
- She said that this world doesn't exist, and this and that, but... Look at us, the more we walk, the more we find stu-
- She's right! I'm pretty sure that's some berries right there! So maybe there's a way of us surviving!!  with my magic, i can summon fire, but you guys will have to get the items for the quest... - Himiko cut off Maki, but still, made an observation the other two haven't thought about it
- I... I would usually get a lil' angry if someone cut me off but... that's actually a really good thing to have in our minds - Maki said, with a big smile on her face, a thing that was never saw before by the two at her side. At least, the killing game changed someone for the better... Who could have known that such traumatic experience would result in at least one good ending

The thoughts and possibilities filled their minds. Not only they have a chance of surviving, but the thought of may learning of even speaking to their friends again somehow, put their brains on fire. But that wasn't the thing they had their focus on

- We should get going, the more we know about this place before it gets dark, the better. We don't know what might pop up in the night...
- Don't worry fellow human, i will scare all monsters with my magic, the most powerful mage from the sappho kingdom will protect you!

Maki giggled at Himiko's little joke, and they all agreed with shuichi's idea.
Off they went, with a new star of hope in their hearts, as they all explored this new world

After minutes (that ended up feeling like hours) walking on grass fields and old dirt paths, Shuichi said the first word after a great time of silence.

- Wait, wait... Everyone quiet... D'y'all hear that?
As soon as he spoke, the girls focused on hearing their surroundings, and so it was noticed:

Birds singing.

- Does that mean that..? Oh my gosh, there's even more proof that we can survive!
- You're right, there's must be some water over this region... and i remember the path we took to get there, so getting in and out of this region shouldn't be much of a problem - Maki said, agreeing with Shuichi.
Tho they were all confused by how they and those things were there in the first place, the new light that has begun shining in their hearts made them forget any type of mistery yet to be discovered
- Wait, i have an idea... What if Maki took me to the place we started, then with my magic, i'll try to look up a place for us to spend the night! I know I know, but we dont know when the moon will come and my restoration spells require a lot of mana, so we'll have to rest somewhere... Nyeh, its gonna be a bit tiring but...
-  ...Good idea. Shuichi, you stay here, I'll take Himiko to the ruins and you try to search for some water. I'll be right back! - Again, seeing Maki being so positive and looking foward wasn't really new for them, but still, it was something that wasnt saw everyday. That atitude, that way of viewing things from the bright side always, reminded of someone they used to know...

Then, the plan started, with organization and patience, it shouldnt take look for them all to reach their desired goals, not only surviving, but deeper than that, maybe seeing their friends again, maybe coming back home, in this new world, they felt more and more like anything was possible.
