Neji frowned when he spotted Naruto practically glaring,at a notebook he had, "Hey, Naruto-"

"Idiot! Hurry up!" Sakura yelled, not noticing that the Hyuga shot her a sharp glare.

"Hurry up for what, Sakura?" Naruto snapped with an uncharacteristically harsh tone that actually made everyone, including Sakura, pause and look at the blonde.

Sakura shook off her shock refusing to be scared by the idiot, "You're helping me and Sasuke move into our new home. So move!" She yelled clearly annoyed, but that might be because everyone from the rookie 9 and Gai's team was right there enjoying a picnic. A picnic that Sasuke and Sakura weren't invited to and she was not going to allow them to get away with that.

The blonde snorted and looked back at his notebook, "I have a deadline-"

"Oh shut up! Nobody believes that you write books!" Sakura spat hatefully, but she flinched sharply when she was met with a deadly glare from Neji who looked ready to kill her. If not for Ino's less deadly actions Neji might've attacked.

Ino threw a mini blueberry pie at Sakura and nailed the pinkette right in the face, "We know Naruto writes so how about you stop harping and leave." She ordered and smirked as Sakura realized that the pie that hit her was actually a spider infested pie courtesy of Shino. Once the shrieking pinkette ran off in terror Ino looked at Naruto. "Put that thing away. You need to stop thinking about it."

"According to Sakura I don't think so do I really need to stop?" Naruto commented in amusement, but Ino wasn't having it so Naruto put the notebook away.

"So you were writing?" Neji asked. They all know about it. Naruto started writing after Jiraiya died as a way to cope and just kept it up, but none of them have seen Naruto frustrated because of it. "Are you having trouble?"

Naruto shrugged as he sat on the picnic blanket with the others, "I just need to take a break."

Neji shifted as he thought about Naruto and the books he writes. He has had a huge crush on the and started reading them the second he learned about them, which wasn't an easy feat. It's impossible to find Naruto's books in Konoha thanks to the civilians boycotting them. That's one reason Sakura refused to believe they even exist.

However, if you step one foot in any bookstore anywhere outside of the closed minded village you will find the books easily. If Neji wants to get a new book all he has to do is stop at Sand and he loves reading the steamy books. It has only made his need for the blonde to grow and perhaps now was a good opportunity to try to talk with Naruto.

Actually he has been trying to tell Naruto for a long time, but he always chickened out. He wasn't going to get scared this time and just in case he had trouble saying his feelings he wrote them down this time. Once everyone started to leave Neji grabbed Naruto's shoulder.

Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Is something wrong, Neji?" He asked, but Neji only stopped when they were in a secluded spot in the forest. Since Neji wasn't facing him he didn't realize the Hyuga was blushing furiously and biting his lip nervously.

"No ... I ummm." Neji mentally scolded himself for letting his nerves render him speechless again, but he had a plan that should help. "I ... I tried doing some writing ... could you see what you think of it?" He asked as he turned to look at those blue eyes.

"I'd be happy to!" Naruto exclaimed, happy to help a friend, especially Neji. However, instead of being handed a set of papers like he expected, Neji blushed and started undressing. "Ummm ... Neji-" A confused blushing Naruto was going to ask Neji what he was doing, but that's when Naruto realized where the writing was.
