(Hi! Quick message from me ProfessorFox! A team of wizards from our series are going to be writing this book since this is storyline for the youtube series The World Of Baccus. With that I would like to let you know your comments could help make new things in the story line and this would give you the opportunity to help make things in baccus that may be brought up in the series!)

It was a day like any other. My brother, Hades, and I were playing swords while my sister, Athena, was doing a mixture of reading and scolding us for approving violence against each other. Our oldest brother, Pluto, had recently become old enough to train with my father in our family business. Our family were the mages of our village. While learning magic was completely allowed the others in our village had the belief that while accepting the help of magic was fine, creating the magic itself was a risk of destroying ones soul and at that most left the magic to my family. "Zues! You're going to lose this time!" Hollered Hades as he slashed his wooden blade at me. I quickly jumped black bringing my own weapon up into a block and chuckled. "Nope, I'm still the better swordsman." With a quick glare Hades began rapidly striking at me before stomping his foot down embers going from his foot to me. "Ow!" I yelped as the embers began to burn. "I can play that game too!" I closed my eyes and focused searching for the slightest pull of energy and once I did I held on to it and opened my eyes as electricity starts to form around my knuckles. With a slash of my sword I watch as the electricity travels from me through my sword and at Hades's arm. Hades let out a yelp before began to wail dropping his scorched weapon. "Mom!!! Zues did it again!" Hades continued to cry out running to the door of our home. Athena dropped her book and sighed standing up "Typical kids. You act all strong than when someone gets burned you must return the favour and then run to mum.". I quickly shake off my sister's words as I run into the home searching for our mother. "He started it! We were just playing until he tried to cheat!" I hollered in return. Our mother came into the same room as me leading my brother and with a quick glance at our minor wounds she let out a sigh and ushered my brother next to me, so that she could talk and focus on us both. "Boys, you know you must be nice to one another and you ESPECIALLY know not to use your powers around the others of the village. Against each other all the more reason not to." I gave her a sad look trying to convince her I was sorry as Hades tried to avoid eye contact. Our mother looked at us and chuckled "You two are lucky since your so young you couldn't do too much damage. Now I want you to apologize to one another then go play something not violence involved." My eyes widened as I shook my head in disapproval, but as I saw my mom's look I knew there was no way out of it and decided to atleast make Hades go first. "No way! I am not apologizing to him!" Wined Hades, but before he could say anything else a loud explosion came from the basement along with a shriek of pain from our eldest brother. "Pluto!!!" Cried our mom in fear as she ran to see what was wrong.

I followed Athena into our father's work room and saw Pluto lying on the ground pale and groaning trying to get up. I looked more around him to see my father's vials broken and most of the liquids covered the floor and my father was quickly walking around the room muttering spells to drain the potions of their power before the magic mixed. "L-lord Baccus" Pluto gasped trying to get up, but only to have our mother help him up and continue to hold on to him. "You are sick Pluto. You're father isn't a lord, now come on you need some rest" she said before slowly guiding him out of the room holding back her own sobs. "Will Pluto be ok?' Athena asked looking at all the destroyed items. Our father looked at us before sighing and began to walk out the room. "Of course. Your mother is the best healer I have ever seen." After that he walked out the room. Athena and I didn't say anything, but we shared a silent glance at each other through the other's eye knowing that 'Lord Baccus' was what we called our father when he became so focused in something he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.

The next day life went as normal... all except one thing. Pluto even as a shy person like he was would be up early helping our mother and then going down stairs to practice. This day Pluto was lying in his room hadn't moved from there since the night before when mom brought him into there to rest. Athena and I were still worried about what Pluto had said, but even though Hades was not there at the time ever since I told him what was going on, without saying anything I could tell that he was worrying an awful lot for our brother's health. "Where's mom?" I ask walking into the kitchen only to see Athena there cooking, which was odd considering only mother would cook breakfast. Athena hated cooking and even more right after waking up. "She is still with Pluto. She's trying all the spells she knows to help him recover sooner." Athena said with a snap. I shrug off at her remark, "sorry, Where is dad shouldn't he be helping with Pluto too?" I say as I grab an apple not much wanting to risk eating something made by Athena. As if on cue Hades walked in and just chuckled at the question, "Lord Bacus is out trying to negotiate with munks for their magical ingredients. " I sigh and look across the room at the stairs leading to Pluto's room before turning back to Hades, "You could atleast ACT like you care for our father! He loves us all, but he just shows his love in his own way! Ever since the incident you have been thinking you can just take anything and joke about it as if it was youe clown!" Athena slammed the bowl she was mixing fruits with to the ground and quickly spun around to eye both me and Hades with eyes of pure anger. "We agreed never to speak of that incident ever again! It must be kept a secret between us three. I definitely don't want to hear you two using it as a weapon in your ridiculous arguments!" She barked before turning back around to her cooking. "Sorry Athena... and you too Hades I know none of that was your fault." I say softly for once actually feeling bad for Hades for the first time. "Yea, whatever just remember that you two both did it." Hades stopped talking to make sure neither of our parents were returning before speaking again, "But I have news that all the magic Pluto did both spells and potions last night were done perfectly. They would do no damage with the procedures he did." My eyes widened in shock at this. I always knew hades used his powers to have small creations hide in the basement so he could watch our father work, but I never thought he would find this out. "Then what could of caused the explosion?" I asked intrigued now that my brother's habits were of use. Hades simply snickered and leaned in, "Lord Baccus didn't want Pluto to master his lessons and take over the family business, but when Pluto refused to let him remain in charge saying he deserved a retirement, He vexed the most active vial to be too sensitive to even safely exist." I sigh in consent before speaking, "I hate to admit it, but that's a huge possibility with how father acts." and with that I walk off to my room and lay on my bed. "I wish we never made that mistake so we wouldn't be able to know about these things." I whisper to myself and zone out remember the incident that changed us all.
