Ishita and purvi were sitting around the dinning table, as purvi casually munched on her apple, and ishita had lists and binders and a laptop, organized and ready to work.

'waise acha nahi hai mohrat Friday ka mil gaya? Kam se kam weekend toh mil jaayega aaram ke liye.' Remarked purvi.

'yeh varsha ki shaadi surya garden banquet hall mein hui thi na?' asked ishita

'di yaar itna toh ignore mat maro mujhe! Aur haan vahi hui thi, bahaut ban rahi thi...show-off!' exclaimed purvi.

'hmm, toh yeh humare budget mein aa hi jayega. Thoda bargain karlungi..'

'meri ignore na karne waali baat ko bhi ignore kar diya, wah! Sahi hai, huh, abhi toh shaadi hui bhi nahi hai! Aur waise ek baat sunlo, book karna hai toh Singla karlo, khaana bhi dhang ka milega!'

'arre woh toh done hi hai, baaki options bhi dekh rahi hoon, shayad better price mil jaayein..'

'waise dushyant bhai ne bhi kuch suggestions diye the, unka kya?'

'haan, kyunki ritz aur la mansion ke liye toh paise ped pe ugg rahe hain humare paas!'

'yeh unhone affordable choices nahi bataye the?'

'isiliye maine dekha hi nahi aage, maine kaha pata nahi mehenge mein kya hi bhej denge!' exclaimed ishita as she shared a chuckle with purvi.

'ameer log, huh!' remarked purvi

'sahi mein!' replied ishita.

'so, singla, surya garden and precious moments. Done!' said ishita with a sigh of relief, as she checked selecting venues off her list.

'aapko nahi lagta woh yeh zaroor puchenge ki unki choices mein kya problem thi?'

'arre isiliye toh precious moments rakh liya, interior bahaut subtly different hai but better lagega aur maine wahan bargain kar liya hai, so he'll be happy and so will my budget which won't go over the limit!' replied ishita as purvi just gazed at her in awe,

'i don't get it, how is he the businessman!' remarked purvi as ishita chuckled.

'what can you do now, huh? Anyways, toh kavin aur dushyant aa jayenge card waale ke saath 12 baje tak, ab bas safaai karlun main!' said ishita as she got up and collected her stuff.

'arre thik lag raha hai ghar, safai kyun kar rahi ho dobara?' said purvi looking at the house which was organized to perfection.

'tujhe pata hai na, i have to do it one more time, just to be sure!' said ishita as purvi just shook her head,

'di, you know you could really benefit from being a little laid back, ab kyun badhana apna BP itna!'

'i had my first stress headache at 5! Do you really think i can get rid of this now?'

'i think i have had hardly 2 in my whole life...'

'you are lucky!' said ishita as she quickly got to cleaning and purvi went to her room to watch tv. Oh, the pleasures of being a person who could care less.

(so guys, who are you able to relate to more here, ishita or purvi? Tell me in the reviews and also why.)

                                                     ***

The card waala bhaiya spread out the cards on the coffee table, the choices were overwhelming. But if something has to catch one's eye, it would stand out even in a million. So, while dushyant picked a red card from the left corner, ishita picked out a white one from the right.

'how about this?' suggested dushyant

'Red?' remarked ishita in the most taunting tone purvi had ever heard from her.

'aisa tone di ne last time mom ke interior design idea pe use kiya tha.' Whispered purvi to kavin

'why? What is the problem?' asked dushyant

'shaadi ka card hai yeh, jooda nahi!' yelled ishita, shocking even purvi.

'tumhari di..' whispered kavin

'artistic things, jinko leke she's extremely passionate, i wouldn't mess with her!' interrupted purvi.

'acha, white card toh screams a happy wedding!' remarked dushyant.

'it's elegant, look, golden over it, not so chamkeela even, such subtle design and look at the font! Shaadi la mansion mein karna hai but card aisa dena hai jaise chandni chowk ki dukaan mein kar rahe ho shaadi! Tum hi ekdom murkha!' ishita scolded.

'hindi aur English pe raho, Bengali pe kyun jaa rahi ho? Do i ever talk to you in Punjabi?'

'fine, you are stupid!' remarked ishita as kavi were trying really bad to hold in their laughter.

'thik hai, let's give a white card for a wedding!' remarked an annoyed dushyant.

'i'm guessing your bhai is arrogant..' whispered purvi

'but bhabhi knows how to set him straight!' replied kavin.

'ok, uhmm, koi aur card aapko acha laga?' asked ishita.

dushyant who controlled himself from giving a spiteful reply, calmly looked at other cards. He got it that she wanted to actually solve the problem, so he decided to keep his ego aside and go along. She looked for cards that he might like and that she could be peaceful with, when she suggested a purple one, it too had that subtle golden designs but the font of the red one,

she was about to suggest that card as she pointed her finger on it, when dushyant's finger touched on it at the same time. (guys, idk how i became such a cliché romance writer...)

'i guess aap dono ko pasand aa gaya.' Remarked kavin as kavi shared a smirk on their face.

'uhh, toh, final?' asked dushyant as he cleared his throat as ishita nodded in agreement.

'bhaiya, yeh final hai.' Said dushyant as the card wala bhaiya nodded with a sigh of relief,

'card ke chakkar mein roz ek naya hi drama dekhne ko milta hai!' he thought as he picked up his cards and left. While purvi got up to lock the door, kavin feeling like an unwanted third wheel, left with the excuse of finding the washroom. Ishyant, left alone in the room, looked at other ways in this awkward silence.

'aapki choice itni buri nahi hai..' said dushyant, breaking the ice in a silent room.

'uhh...' ishita fumbled as dushyant interrupted,

'you can't say that about that red colour...' as ishita nodded to it as they both bursted into laughter,

'i'm sorry, but it's bad...'

'it's ok. I guess cards mein toh itni achi choice nahi hai meri...' he said as his glance fell on ishita, as he slipped his hand into hers and said,

'i'm sorry, mujhe aise baat nahi karni chahiye thi.'

'i'm sorry too, pata nahi kya hua-

'red makes you angry...'

'probably that...' replied ishita with a chuckle reciprocated by dushyant.
