~Chapter One~

Lorelais POV
"Rory wake up sweetie" I say walking into my 16 year old daughters room. "Mum I am see" Rory says and I see that shes already in her school uniform for Chilton and doing homework. "W-what HOW" I exclaim because she's already ready for the day and I'm still in my pyjamas and my hair is a mess. "Mum go get changed, could you drop me off at school today because I do not want to get the bus" Rory orders and I groan and walk out of her room. I go upstairs and get dressed and make my self look all nice. I grab my bag and as im running down the stairs I trip over one of rorys shoes and fall backwards into a wall and I land on my butt at the end of the stairs. "AHH" I scream as I fall against the wall and Rory comes running down the hallway and comes to me. "Mum omg are you okay" Rory asks running to me. "I told you to stop putting your shoes on the stairs" I say and try to get up but my back hurts so much so I fall back down with my back resting on the wall. "Mum here let me help you" Rory say and helps me to stand up. When I stand up I get a bad shooting pain down my back. "STUPID STAIRS" I shout as Im walking to the front door.

Allison's POV
Recently I moved to a place called Stars-Hollow and its very small but I love it. I put on my black tight dress and black high heels and I grab my handbag and I leave my house. The weather is lovely so I don't take a coat. As im walking down the street, a lady comes up to me. "Hello darling, are you new to this town?" She asks sweetly and shakes my hand. "Yes I am and I love it here, the feeling of this place is so happy and calm" I say and she looks at me in shock. "Everything alright?" I ask and she gets excited. "Your from England?" She asks and I smile and nod. "Yes is my accent very strong then?" I ask and she nods. "Yes and I'm Miss Patty by the way" She states. "I'm Allison Stafford" I inform her and we hug and I walk away. Everyone seems so lovely here. I'm walking down the street and I see a place called 'Lukes Diner' I walk in and its like a café. I walk over and sit at the counter and a man comes up to me. "Hello what could I get you?" He asks and I smile at him. "Hello um could I please have a menu?" I ask and he nods and passes me a menu. "So your new? And English?" He asks as im reading what's on the menu. "Yes, also why are so many people surprised that I'm English?" I ask with a slight giggle. "Because here in Stars-Hollow we hardly ever get English people" He says and I smirk. "why is there biscuits in gravy, gravy goes on roast dinners not biscuits" I ask disgusted and he chuckles. "Here in America we have special gravy for biscuits" He asks and I nod and hum. "Okay well could I please have coffee with a bit of milk in it just to call it down?" I ask and he nods and makes my Coffee. He passes me the coffee and I start to drink it. "Wait on here it says bacon with syrup, why wouldn't you have syrup on a meat? Syrup goes on pancakes" I say raising a eyebrow and he laughs. "To be honest I don't know, it's just nice I guess" Luke informs me and I hum. And I drink my coffee as im reading a book that I bought.

Lorelais POV
After I take Rory to school I go into Lukes Diner. As I walk in I see a new person at the counter so I walk over and sit down next to her. As I sit down It hurts. "Ouch" I groan and Luke helps me to sit down. "Are you alright?" Luke questions as im sat down. "Yeah" I say and I look next to me at the girl. "Hello Im Lorelai Gilmore" I say and she looks at me and smiles. She has such a beautiful smile. "Hi im Allison Stafford" she states in a strong English accent and we shake hands. "so are you new?" I ask and she closes her book and faces me. "Yeah I moved in down the street and I really like It here" Allison informs me. "good" I tell her and I smile. "LUKIE BOY" I shout and Luke rolls his eyes and comes over. "Yes Lorelai?" Luke asks. "Coffee coffee coffee" I say excited and I see that Allison smirks slightly. "So how are you?" Allison asks kindly. "I'm great thank you, how are you?" I ask and she smiles. "I'm good I just need to find a job at the moment" She says and a idea pops into my head. "I run a Inn called the 'Dragonfly Inn' , would you like to work there? I have spots open that I could give you?" I ask and she widens her eyes. "really?" She asks happily and I nod. "yeah! you can do all sort of jobs" I say and she hugs me and I hug back. "Thank you Lorelai that means so much to me!" Allison exclaims. "Here's my number and we can arrange a time to meet so I can show you around" I say writing my telephone number down and giving it to her. "alright I will do, thanks again" She says and gets up and leaves and waves to me as she walks out.
