My stomach is doing a major summersault as Mrs. Na - my homeroom teacher aka Chemistry teacher - will announce the result of our midterm two weeks ago.

The students who fail any subject must join review class after school three weeks to retake the test which puts me off.

My other subjects get good grades which I assume myself, but chemistry test result turns my world upsidedown in a blink of an eye.

I dislike chemistry and it doesn't like me either but I have never ever failed it before.

Guess what? I FAILED IT FOR REAL.

I swear I haven't hated school even though it isn't for me. Nonetheless, today is different.

After the test result announcement, I actually have no idea what is Mrs. Na saying throughout the period. My mind drifts to the thought of my parents' reaction, especially my mom with her madness mode on. She has the power that our house can be burned down by her anger.

I feel someone taps lightly on my shoulder. It's Chaein who looks at me with full of concern.

"Yujin. I get your food tray already. Let's eat!"

Oh it's lunch time now.

"I'm not hungry."

I lost my appetite.

"Review class is going to start next week. Just enjoy this week. Who likes salty egg croissant? My treat!" Chaein point at herself, trying to liven the atmosphere.

But today is Friday which means I have only 2 days to be free.

It's obvious that I hate review class. Everyone does. Who would like to have extra hours studying after spending an entire day in class?

Moreover, I'm not a kind of God who can absorb all the chemistry thingy *which I hate with a passion* in just 3 weeks.

Last but not least, my mom will cut off my allowance next month when she receives my school 's text which updates her daughter's grade.

The final period has dismissed which means everyone heads home happily because weekend awaits them. I am an exception for sure as my weekends will be drowned in chemistry revisions.

I am heading to the bookstore to search for some chemistry workbooks that Chaein recommended me earlier. She's gonna tutor me tomorrow morning.

Walking along the pavement in such hour is way much better than shaping yourself on the crowded bus, like the one across the street.
