Chapter Four

" Wait. Calm down." I said trying to remain calm

"King and Sean are in jail Karlie. " She said sobbing

"What happened?" I asked

" Sean and King got into it with Kendrick Wright today over you.  During class King over heard Kendrick talking about you. He was saying you could do better and if he got the chance he would show you how a man suppose to feel.

So King got mad and told him you already knew what a man felt like so shut the fuck up. Some dude name Ty jumped in it and told King to back off. Then Sean jumped in telling Ken and Ty to square up.

Next thing you know Sean, King, Kendrick, and Ty are fighting. Kendrick ' s mother pressed chargers on King and Sean. Von called me and said they just picked them up from home.

"Let's get in the car and talk about it on the way there." I said panicky

I ran upstairs and put some jeans on and my purple uggs. I jumped in Amari car and prayed to myself hoping everything would be alright.

Once we got to the station, we immediately saw Tasha and Sean's ex Trina in the waiting area.

We looked at each other and took deep breaths because God was really testing us with this one. These bitches only come around for shit like this. Where are you when his mom is sick? Or when he needs help .

The tension in the room was thick enough to cut your throat.

I walked to the receptionist desk slowly hoping a bitch would try me.

" Hi, ma'am." I said with a fake smile

" Hi, how may I help you?" She asked

" Do you think they'll let us back there to talk to the officers. " I asked hopefully

" You can go back there and see." She said unknowingly

" Okay." I replied

I waved my hand signaling Amari to come with me. As we walked through the door I heard Tasha and Trina say something. I tried to turn around but Amari pushed me forward.

" Hey ladies, what can I assist you with?" the officer said

The officer was black with a bruise slightly under his eye. He was fat and very unattractive. From the description King gave me, he matched the dirty cop.

" Yes, we would like to see Kingston McCall, and Sean--. I said before stopping and looking at Amari so she could finish his name.

" Ohh. Alexander. "  She said while blushing from embarrassment

"I don't know about them two. They gave us a run for our money when we tried to arrest them. Especially Alexander. " He said shaking his head

" I promise it will only be 10 minutes. " I pleaded

" Okay, but nothing more." He said sternly

" Okay." We said in unity

We followed him as he led us to the holding cell. When we got there Sean was laying down singing and King was just laying down twisting his dreads.

"Can we go in. It's not the real jail cell." I said sweetly

He opened the door and winked at me. Pervert. I could tell Sean wanted to dissappear once he saw Amari.

" Hey baby." Sean said laughing nervously

Amari didn't respond. Her ears began to turn red, so I knew she was about to cry.
