     There's always those decisions you make when you're under pressure, and some people are better at dealing with it than others.

    You, however, are not.

Especially in this moment.

Because William will be home any second now.

    You tried to regain your thoughts, debating on whether or not you should take the tape or not.

   No.. you shouldn't. He checks this spot probably multiple times a day so he'd know. But then again, even if you do leave it, he'll know that somebody touched it. You're fucked either way.

     You decided to try to leave it as neatly as you found it, the only thing you're able to do is pray to god that he won't notice.

      You placed the box down and slowly just went back to the couch, trying to gather your thoughts between William Afton being a child murderer, attempted to murder you, as well as wanting to kill his own son.

       The jingling of keys outside made you jump harder than you had wished, Elizabeth still sound asleep next to you as the TV still showed a random station.

  You have to act as natural as possible, your life and potentially Michael's life depends on it. William immersed from the black void of the outside world and closed the door. He grabbed the box and shoved it into his pocket.

    "Thank you, I'm sorry to have woken you up for that." He smiled. You were sure a bead of sweat fell down your forehead, despite it being freezing cold.

   "Oh- yeah, haha." You laughed, soon realizing that Lora never followed him from outside.

    "Where's Lora?"

  "Oh, she's staying over at a friend's house for some kind of game night." He waved off the question and simply smiled.

    "Uh okay." You said, him taking off his coat and placing it on the coat hanger before making his way upstairs.

    You remembered the tape.

  "Oh!- um, I should probably get going. Henry's probably worried."
