It was 8.00am on the 15th of july, 2002. It was finally Elijahs birthday. Her mother woke her up with a cupcake in her hand, sprinkles where dotted all over the pink frosting. "Happy birthday Eli!" her mother said excitedly. Elijah rubbed her eyes and took the cupcake "Thank you!" they both went downstairs to see that Elijahs father was laying on the couch, watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S, "Good morning, Eli." said elijahs father, tiredly. "morning dad!" said Elijah, slightly muffled because of all the cake stuffed in her mouth, crumbs falling out as she spoke. "Woah careful Eli, your spilling the cake everywhere." said her dad. "No it's not i'm being perfec-" the tv sirens went off, with flashing red lights. "this is not a test. You have been selected miss "Victoria rose and Sir Peter-man." To go to the chicago airport at 3.00pm eastern standard time. There is 7 meteors about to hit exactly where chicago is. Pack your bags, only 1 piece of luggage is allowed." Elijahs mum was looking scared and stared at Elijahs dad, and then the time. "Shoot. 3.00pm is in 5 minutes!" said victoria under her breath. "ELIJAH, PETER, PACK YOUR THINGS WE NEED TO GO NOW." Eli looked scared but ran upstairs to pack her teddies. Her mum burst in. "PROPER THINGS. NOT TEDDIES ELI." She walked out, and slammed the door out of stress.
