The Melody I Used To Know

I've known her for what seems like forever now; we're even betrothed- yet since... Since she has become a demon she's changed quite alot... Her entire personality has turned upside down. She used to be so cheerful, full of life and happy- as of late she's been growing darker, still happy, but the hunger for not only her sister's soul but in general has gotten out of control. I feel like- I just don't care for her like I did when we had first met... I suppose my greatest fear is losing Melody to her demon side completely...

I guess this is where I should explain some things that may not be understood- You see, I met Melody some time ago when we arranged for our two companies to work together. After that, we began running into each other in the marketplace and then while I was on a job for the Queen. We began to see more and more of each other, and were sent on the same missions. So, I began to develop feelings for her.
During a job we had both been sent on by the Queen, Melody and her twin sister Raven's uncle saw an oppertunity to intervein. He had captured both of them and planned to kill them as revenge for his anger towards their father- his brother. Sebastian, myselg and Melody's butler Demetri had trouble locating them at first- so by the time we had arrived he had already... stabbed Melody, and she was bleeding pretty badly. The only way to save her was for Demetri to turn her into a demon, and so he did.

I didn't think at the time that it would change her personality any... now I see that I was wrong, and I wish I wasn't....

"My Lord?" Sebastian walked into my study, which startled me.

"Y-yes Sebastian?" I stammared.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"No, not at all, why do you ask?" I replied, no hesitation.

He gave me a look, which to me said 'Ciel I know your lieing, tell the truth or no dessert'

I sighed. "Its Melody, alright? I just- she's changed so much since she- and I-" I sighed again. "I don't know If I love her anymore because she's not the Melody I fell in love with..."

"Ah, was that so hard to say young master?" He said with a grin, which made me angry.

"Yes! Yes it was!" I yelled. "There's nothing I can do about it, but I don't want to lose her Sebastian..."

"There mat be a way to get her old personality back." He replied.

I looked at him. "You had better not be joking with me Sebastian."

"No my lord, If I speak with Demetri he may know a way to change her back to the way she was." He said, completely serious. "Just say the word my lord and I will obey."

"Alright then, I order you to find a way to change Melody back to the way she was before she became a demon."

"Yes, my Lord."

'Seeing her then, what she is now- I wonder if she even knows she's changed. If there is a way to change her back, Sebastian had better find it. I don't want to lose her, but I fear I already have- to the monster that's now inside her put there by her butler. If it weren't for her wretched uncle, she would have been fine- I wouldn't have this problem, she would only be mine...'
