It was a typical night for the 9 year old Sasha, watching a magic stage show by Zatanna Zatara. The magician's excitement and energy spread like an infection among the kids in the audience, including Sasha.

Zatanna: For my next trick, I'll need a volunteer! Who wants to come up?

Upon hearing this, the young Sasha's hand shot up high into the air. Zatanna saw her hand raised and pointed to her.

Zatanna: You there, little girl, come on up!

Sasha nervously got out of her seat and walked onto the stage. As she stood next to Zatanna, Sasha felt very intimidated by her beauty.

Zatanna: What's your name?

Sasha: Sa-Sashhha!

Zatanna: Well Sasha, you will have the great honor in helping me perform a brand new trick that has never been done before! For this trick, I will use my magic to shrink Sasha down to 2 inches, then I will put her in my hat and make her disappear!

A few audible groans from the adults, who were probably rolling their eyes, could be heard.

Zatanna: *snickers* (It might seem like the old tired hat-trick, but they can't even imagine what twist I'll put on this trick). Now without further ado, KNIRHS!!!

With a wave of Zatanna's wand, Sasha shrank down to 2 inches in height. Zatanna quickly swept the girl into her hat and, using her skilled hand movements, swung it over her face.

Sasha barely had time to take in what was happening. Zatanna had just shrunk her down to 2 inches and had scooped her up in her hat. Sasha braced herself from the force of the hat being swung upwards towards the magician's face.

Zatanna: (Alright, here goes nothing).

Zatanna titled her hat downwards, causing Sasha to slide out. As she did, Zatanna opened her mouth as wide as she could and allowed Sasha to fall right in.

Sasha's eyes shot wide open as she saw Zatanna's gaping maw below her. She barely had any time to react as she fell into the dark pit and onto her soft tongue.

As soon as she felt Sasha hit her tongue, Zatanna snapped her jaws shut and moved the tiny girl under the flexible muscle.

Zatanna: Tada! Sasha is gone!

Zatanna showed off the empty hat to the audience. She then handed it over to one of the other little girls to show her, with the child expectedly confused. While this was happening, Zatanna decided to move Sasha out from under her tongue and on top of it to give her some breathing room.

Zatanna: (Mn! I hate to admit it, but Sasha tastes amazing, probably a bad sign).

Sasha was having a difficult time coming to terms with her new surroundings.

Sasha: I can't believe I'm inside Zatanna's mouth. It's... kinda cozy.

Sasha was at first nervous about her current predicament, but the longer she sat on the muscular tongue, the more she came to like being in Zatanna's mouth. Her warm breath felt soothing on her skin, and her tongue felt incredibly soft. Sasha felt oddly at home inside Zatanna's mouth, and she didn't know why.

Before she had anymore time to think about it, she felt something pick her up from behind. Soon enough, Sasha found herself inexplicably being pulled out of Zatanna's hat.

Zatanna: And here she is. Now let's get her back to normal size, WORG!

Almost immediately, Sasha grew back to her original size, and the show went on as usual.

When the show concluded, Zatanna went up to Sasha to talk to her.

Zatanna: Hey Sasha, I hope you weren't scared by the magic trick tonight.

Sasha: No, I'm fine. I'm just glad I got to be a part of your trick, Ms. Zatanna!

Zatanna: I appreciate it. I hope you get home safe, Sasha.

Sasha: Okay, bye Ms. Zatanna!

Sasha waved Zatanna goodbye as she walked out, with the magician waving back with a big smile.

Zatanna: I think I'll make it a mandate for myself to not do that trick too often.

For the rest of the night, Sasha thought about her short and brief experience inside Zatanna's mouth. She still couldn't understand why she enjoyed the experience so much. What she could never imagine was that this one event would change her life forever.
