One-Shot

A/n:I'll be using She/Her pronouns!!Also I've never owned a cat in my life so sorry if some descriptions are inaccurate,this is my first ff

Rain pours from the gray skies.The brunette quickly running her feet splashing the wet ground,stretching her hands above her head trying to keep herself dry

She runs past an alley, where she hears faint meowing.She couldn't help but stop and look back

She takes a few steps behind and peeped her head in the alley and glanced trying to find where the sound came from

She sees an area where one can hear the meowing the most,which is behind a trashcan.The girl goes nearer until she saw the creature which made the sound,and the image before her broke her heart and she gasped

It was a poor cat,shivering cold in the corner of a box, she was a little wet and she had dirt all over her fur,the girl had a wash of relief when she saw no injuries. The poor cat looked so scared

"Oh my god you poor thing..."She crouched down, she was about to touch her when the cat's meows became louder."C'mon,it's okay."

She waited for the cat to become more comfortable, and slowly it did.The girl took this chance to pet her trying to warm her up."Oh sweetie you're shivering..."

The creature purred at her soft touch.The girl guessed she was abandoned when she saw the 'Free cat' writing on the front of the box

"Why would someone abandon you?"She keeps petting her."I'm Aria by the way,and you are..."She trails off looking for a collar of some sort,but she saw none.She sighed."Even your past owner didn't give you a name?That's so cruel." Aria said sympathetic,she picked her up making sure to be careful and wrapped her around her jacket close, which helped warming up

"I guess I'm gonna have to take you home."She says softly.Aria had always been a softie for animals.She has light brown hair that ends on her shoulders,a tan skintone,freckles and dark blue eyes

5 minutes later

The sound of keys made Levi,a wolf looking dog jump from the couch and head over the front door when he smelled an awful stench."Hi Levi!"Aria greeted her dog

That's when he noticed the fur Aria was holding behind her jacket."It's a cat bud,someone abandoned her."

'What the hell?A cat?'Levi thought.Good thing he was a calm one.Thats when a cat's head peeked out the jacket and looked at him

Aria took her out her jacket and held her in her arms. She started to walk away, the cat looked at the dog who just glared at her

She looked away almost sassily which caused the Levi to growl quietly

Aria cleaned her up in the bathroom,Levi looking from the door.Once she was done she wrapped her with a fluffy blanket and placed her in the living room couch

She was snuggling in her blanket,looking sleepy. "Levi!Come here bud!"Aria called from the kitchen.Levi immediately went to the kitchen,when he got there he saw his owner preparing his food

"Sit."Aria ordered,and Levi did so looking at her."Good boy!"She said kneeling down and placing his bowl of food,making sure to rub his head too

"Okay bud,I trust you with the kitty okay?I have to study for an exam so please be a good boy and don't hurt her okay?She's scared enough as it is."Aria said to her dog as if he was a human being.Levi had been living with her for a year and a half now,and during that time they have built a trusting and loyal relationship.Aria trusts Levi with her whole heart, and without Aria Levi wouldn't have a home right now,since he was from an animal shelter and Aria would rather rescue than spend money on a breeder, She was like an actual mother
