The club has been just as predicted, music blasting and sweaty bodies pushed together. It was not my scene, I would seriously rather be at home reading or even watching a movie. Now I was alone, leaning against a table by the wall, nursing some drink that Stella told me I would like. Stella, Liliya, and Noelia had disappeared onto the dance floor after we had taken the first three shots. I could see them from where I was, Noelia was dancing with some girl, Liliya had disappeared into the crowd and Stella was dancing with random people near her.
I pick up my drink and take a sip, "How are you?" Liliya asks, appearing over my shoulder.
I turn to look and see that she was also joined by Namjoon, he was wearing an orange t-shirt and black pants, almost matching Liliya. He had had an arm around her shoulders and somehow arrived at the club since we got here, "I'm fine," I answer, speaking up over the music, "When did you get here?" I look to Namjoon.
"About 15 minutes ago," Namjoon smiles, "You look nice."
I roll my eyes, "Thanks. Is it just you or is Jimin here?"
"We all came actually," Namjoon nods and I scoff, "Liliya invited us all." He leans down to kiss the top of her head and she laughs.
"Babe, can you get me a drink?" Liliya asks.
"Of course." Namjoon kisses the top of her head before leaving to head to the bar.
"Right now that he's gone," Liliya leans on the table, "Why are you asking about Jimin?" She raises an eyebrow.
"I just need to know if I have to hide from him." I roll my eyes, sipping my drink.
"What?"
"Well," I set my drink down, "I had coffee with Jimin this morning-"
I'm immediately cut off by Liliya, "So that's where he snuck off to? I've been asking all day where he went."
I roll my eyes, "Yeah surprise! It was coffee with me!" I say sarcastically, "I didn't ever want to see him again after coffee this morning."
Liliya looks confused, "Why? I mean he isn't my type but he's nice, funny and he isn't ugly."
"It's not that." I roll my eyes once again.
"Then what is it?" Liliya asks, drumming her fingers on the table.
"I'm just not looking to date." I pick up my drink and finish it again. I'm starting to feel a little tipsy.
"Is it because he's an idol?" Liliya pushes further, "If it's because of the idol thing I can tell you it isn't easy at all but it's really worth it. Like it's hard because you have to keep it a secret and things but like it's definitely worth it." She rambles on.
"I don't want to date anyone at all." I scoff.
"Oh," Liliya nods, "Bad breakup?"
Liliya opens her mouth to speak but Namjoon returns with Jimin and Jin by his side, "Here." He hands her some random drink, "Sorry it took so long." He wraps an arm around her shoulders again. Again Jimin looked nice, he was wearing the same outfit from this morning but a few more buttons were undone on the top. Jin looks quite nice too, wearing a black t-shirt and a green leather jacket over it.
"That's fine," Liliya says before sipping the drink, "Want to leave after this drink?" Namjoon just nods in response.
"Hi, Ana." Jin smiles politely.
"Hi." I wave awkwardly.
"Ana," Jimin steps beside me, "Do you want to go dance?" I'm still not used to be spoken to in Korean this much, instead of the occasional conversations with my aunt or at the shops.
