Chapter 6

Raven Richards," a women with braided long hair, and piercing green eyes the kind that made you look twice at, just to know there real said to me. I followed, her long dark purple gypsy dress trailing behind her, making the bells on her braids jingle. We entered a odd looking room, the walls were a dark purple, and the dark red carpet looked like a dogs fluffy fur. There were two dark purple huge chairs, sitting across from each other, a round table in between them.

"I'm Rue Johnson, Arabella told me so much about you," her comforting voice said lightly, as she took the right chair. "Sit," she told me, gesturing to the chair across from her.

I took the seat, "Uh, Arabella talked to you about me?"

She nodded, "Well she told me of your....spiritual encounters."

"You mean the fact my own sister is trying to kill everyone I love and has succeeded once?"

"Uh, yes."

I bit my lip, "Wow, I just sounded really, really crazy. Sorry."

She smiled warmly at me, "All's fine. You have a very unique case."

I snorted, holding back laughter, "Unique? Is that what you called it these days?"

"No, I just mean that I haven't dealt with anything like your case."

"Oh."

"So....what has your spirit done?"

"Didn't Arabella tell you?"

She shrugged, "Well yes, but I would like a first person summary."

"Oh... Uh, well she: haunts me in my dreams threatening all I love, trying to turn me into a complete monster, killed my Mom, and made my Dad go to jail," I said quickly.

She licked her lips, "Uh, do you need chapstick or something?" I asked her.

"No, no just-thinking."

"Oh."

"Hm, let's try to summon her here."

My body went cold, what the heck is this women thinking?! Is she on something?! "Whoa summon her?! Here?"

She nodded, "Yes."

"But-but, did you just here anything I just said?"

"Indeed I did, that's why I am doing this. You had to assume that I would do something along the lines of this."

"I thought you would just give me a cross and sprinkle holy water on me!"

She chuckled, "I'm sorry you were misunderstood."

"I don't think this is safe," I mumbled.

"Don't worry. All is going to be fine."

I didn't answer, my body had no feeling. Something really bad is going to happen, I don't know what, but something will be bad. "Now open your palms and place the back of your hands on the table," she instructed, I did as told. "Spirit of the unknown come to me. The answers of yours we shall seek. Come to us Delilah Richards, and show us why you stay here."

Suddenly the small candle on the table went out. "I-is this supposed to happen?" I asked, voice shaky.

"Yeah," I could here her reply nervously. I couldn't see anything, not even if my hand was in front of my face. Suddenly Rue screamed and I heard something hit the wall hard.

"Rue?" I asked the blackness, no answer. "RUE!"

"Raven!" I heard Rue mutter, where was she?! That's when the candle flickered on, and I saw Delilah standing in front of me, smiling. Rue was in the corner, eyes wide, lips trembling.
