Teto's Move-In Day

Today has been a day I've been looking forward to for a very long time. After I graduated high school, I ran away from my parents' house while they were on a business trip so I could live on my own and pursue music. I took a gap year, gathered some money for myself, and I applied to audition for Da Capo Academy of Music, one of the most prestigious music schools ever. I've heard that alumni of Da Capo are either granted record labels, or they become songwriters that every singer would BEG to work with.

When I decided to shoot my best shot and audition, I was very surprised when I ended up getting accepted, which is crazy, especially considering the fact that I failed the music theory entrance exam. (This means I would have to take basic music theory as one of my classes).

I've decided that I would be majoring in vocal arts and minoring in videography (so I can make my own music videos once I start releasing songs). I'm very lucky that I was able to be a vocal major, because a lot of people who audition to attend Da Capo audition for the vocal major. Some people who do end up attending Da Capo don't end up with a vocal major, because a vocal student at Da Capo would already need a lot of skill before attending, so I'm very glad that I was skilled enough to be one of the vocal majors.

I showed up to the campus, and I showed up at the admissions office so I could pick up my room key and mailbox key. (There was a LONG line.) I saw on the envelope which contains my room key that I was staying in Room 203 at Adagio Hall (one of the two freshman dorms on campus). I then looked at that same envelope to check to see who my roommate would be. I saw the name "Bibi Jyougasaki" right next to the word "Roommate". I didn't know why at the time, but that name seemed VERY familiar. "I know I've seen that name before, but where?" I thought.

I entered my dorm room and saw that there was no one else there. I started to unpack a little bit, due to the fact that I still had time before freshman orientation. I hung up posters for FLAP-M* and Mindsets* (two of my favorite bands EVER) and I unpacked my journals, pencils, binders, and other supplies.

*Author's note: FLAP-M and Mindsets are two bands that consists of modules from @TammyChan180's module headcanons. You can read about them in her headcanons about the Miku modules Agitation and Farewell.*

As I continued to unpack, I saw the door open. A girl with brown skin and pink hair walks in, and she's wearing a checkered tank top and a pair of holographic silver pants. "Are you Teto Kasane?" the girl asked me. "I am!" I responded. "Nice. I'm Bibi Jyougasaki. I'm your new roommate." Bibi said with a smile. Not only did her name ring a bell, but she looked familiar, too.

"You look familiar." I pointed out. As soon as I pointed it out, it hit me. I saw Bibi Jyougasaki in several different magazines. I even saw her on the cover of one of them. "Oh! You're that model! In the Vividrien magazine!" I stated as I recalled when I saw her. "Yeah. That's me." Bibi told me. "I have some of the magazines you were in at home!" I told her. "That's pretty cool." Bibi said with a smile.

From the magazines I saw (and some of her posts on social media), Bibi has always had a really cool style. She would either wear something holographic, checkered print clothing, animal print clothing, or anything that gives off 90s - 2000s vibes (specifically the Y2K aesthetic).

Bibi unpacked her supplies, clothes, and everything else she needed for the semester. She also unpacked the COOLEST decorations. She pulled out a rainbow neon sign stand that says "BIBI" on it, and she put it right next to her radio on top of her dresser. She pulled out a poster of Coco Macne along with prints of herself from different photo shoots. She also hung up LED lights as well. "You really love 2000s stuff, don't you?" I asked her. "Yup. I just miss the vibes of that decade, you know? The music, the style, the authenticity, etc. I want to bring it back." Bibi told me. "That's understandable. The stuff from that decade was pretty cool." I said. "It sure as hell was." Bibi responded.
