Secretary Kim

Part 1

"Ms Lee, We have arrived", the driver informed you. You moved your gaze from the tablet that you were holding. The driver opened the car door for you. You stepped out.

"Good morning, Ms Lee", your secretary Kim Taehyung greeted you. You accepted his greeting. He led the way to your office. Your office was on one of the top floors. He was notifying the schedule for the day.

Everyone in the company greeted you. You were the scariest person for everyone. Not only because you were the boss also because you were ice cold. The one thing you hated the most was unnecessary talks. 

You hired the most efficient people to seal the deal, tackle the business partners and accompany them to dinners if required. Your signature did most of the work there.

You would attend important business meetings and presentations. As soon as you settled in your chair, Taehyung brought the files to be reviewed. "Thank you, Mr Kim", you said. He smiled and bowed at you. "Mr Kim", you called him.

"Yes, Ms Lee", he immediately turned around. "How long have you been working for me?" you asked him. "About 2 years, Ms Lee", he said. You nodded. "You may go", you said to him.

He closed the door behind him. He was the only one who survived this long. He endured your coldness, your temper and your annoying behaviour. Usually, a lot of them quit within 2-3 months.

Sometimes you wondered why he was staying? Probably he has no choice. The company paid him well. After you collected your thoughts, you started to review your files.

Managing an electronics company was not easy. Even though you didn't start the company from scratch, you built it. Your father passed the company to you. You made the company reach global.

You were never on good terms with your father. You worked hard at your young age to become more powerful than him. The world's prestigious magazines wrote about you regularly.

'One of the youngest and richest businesswomen in her late 20s Ms Y/n.' These kinds of articles would get published often. Taehyung knocked on your door and came in. He had special permission.

He need not wait for your response. "Ms Lee, it's time for the meeting", he said to you. You stood up from the chair. Your lunch will arrive before this meeting ends", he said. "Okay", you replied.

"Hello, Ms Lee. I am Park Jaymin", a tall and well-built guy who extended his arms for a handshake. "Ceo of Park Industries", Taehyung introduced him. "Nice to meet you", you shook his hands.

"It's such an honour to meet you in person", he smiled. You smiled in return. "Shall we start?" you asked him. "Oh yes, sure", you both made your way into the hall. After the discussions, the meeting came to an end.

Jaymin's secretary and Taehyung discussed the important points. They exchanged the schedules for neet meetings. "Ms Lee, shall we go?" Taehyung asked.

You were still sitting inside the meeting hall. You didn't respond immediately. "Ms Lee?" he called you once again.

"Why Park Industries?" you asked Taehyung. "They have the most advanced technologies for now. Collaborating with them is the wisest option", he said.

"Arrange the meeting with our research and development team within this week", you said. "I don't like him", you said. "Yeah, I will", Taehyung noted. Taehyung internally sighed.

Here she goes again! You asked Taehyung to leave for lunch. Usually, you would have your lunch in your room. Taehyung couldn't make many friends within the company. He always had to run behind you.

He had some assistant secretaries. They would never assist you directly. If Taehyung is unavailable, they will accompany you. "Mr Kim", Luna waved her hands and called him over.

She was one of your assistant secretaries. "How was the meeting today?" she asked. "Not bad, but we need to arrange the meeting with the research and development team", Taehyung said.

"Don't you think that she is too ambitious?", she asked him. "She is, but it's not wrong. She wants our company to be number 1 in everything", he said. "You are the only person who justifies her decision no matter what.

I guess you should be paid separately for that", Luna giggled. After eating their lunch Taehyung made his way back to his cabin. "Mr Kim?" It was Jaymin's secretary.

Taehyung stopped in his tracks because he thought that she might have to discuss something important. "Mr Park wants to see you. It won't take much time. You can go before your lunchtime", she said.

"Uhm, why?" he asked her. "I am afraid that I can't tell you. He is waiting in the lobby", she said. Taehyung agreed to meet him. "Hello, Secretary Kim. It's nice to see such a handsome and hardworking young man", he said.

Taehyung politely accepted his compliment. "What do you want to discuss, sir?" he asked. "Just like your boss. You can loosen up a little you know", he laughed.

"If we are done talking then I shall take my leave, my boss doesn't like those who are late", Taehyung stood up. "Fine, then meet me in V plaza today. I have something important to discuss.

Have this pass. It's a Vip pass. I will be waiting for you", he gave the card. Before Taehyung could answer he went. "Right, keep this as a secret from your boss for now", he smirked.

Taehyung looked at the card. He looked at the time and rushed to your office. The rest of the day he was doing some paperwork. It was his time to leave. It was already 7 pm.

"Ms Lee, I am taking my leave. Have a good night", he said. "See you tomorrow", you said. He debated whether he should say that he was visiting Mr Park. He decided not to tell you for now.

He hailed a cab and reached the plaza. It was extravagant. He went in with the Vip pass. Slow music was playing. It gave rich people vibes. "Hello, Mr Kim. You came. I thought that you wouldn't", Jaymin held his shoulder.

He was already tipsy. "Have a drink", he gave a glass. "Thank you, but I have to go early. Please tell me why you called me", he said. "Such a baby. Do you have a girlfriend waiting? See here there are so many hot chicks", he shamelessly laughed.

"I am sorry Mr Park, I will get going", he stood up. "Fine fine. I called you here to propose an offer", he said. "I will pay you to double the current salary. Work for me", he said. "I see your efficiency and your boss doesn't even acknowledge you", he said.

"Thank you for the offer but I am not interested", Taehyung said and stood up. "Well Mr Park, why don't you make your employees work efficiently rather than pulling my secretary", you said, standing across from them.

"I told you not to tell your boss, but you are such a loyal dog", he laughed. You held his collar and tightened your grip. "Tell one more word, I will make sure that you won't wake up for days", you nearly choked him.

Taehyung panicked. "Ms Lee, leave him", he made you release your grip. "You will pay for this Lee Y/n. I will make sure", he hissed in pain.
