Chapter Sixteen

Ashley's POV

I successfully avoided David throughout this week and I think he got tired of trying to talk to me seeing that he isn't making any effort to talk to me again.

Right now I'm at the park, just taking a walk, breathing in fresh air and trying to forget what had been going on.

"Hey Ashley!" Logan called from behind me.

"Logan, what are you doing here" I asked.

"Umm.... I'm babysitting my bro for today and he said he wanted to go to the park, so I brought him" he said glancing at his 6year old brother to see if he was fine.

"What are you doing here?" He asked suddenly.

"I just wanted to take a walk" I said.

"Okay well can I join, I'm super bored" he asked.

"Yeah sure" I answered.

We walked and talked about a lot of things, to be honest it has been long since I have spoken to Logan before, I don't usually see him in school that much, I wonder where he wonders off to.

"So have you started talking to David?" He suddenly asked out of the blue.

"Why do you care" I asked.

Yeah Ashley that might have been rude.

I don't care if I sounded rude but why would he even ask me this type of question, he knows how I feel about the David's situation.

"David hasn't been his normal self, like he doesn't sleep and even though he does it's just for an hour or two, he doesn't talk much when he's with us and he doesn't smile anymore" he said counting it with his fingers.

"When have you ever known David to smile?" I asked sarcastically.

"Well sure he doesn't smile but he isn't the same anymore Ash, you need to talk to him." He said pausing for a moment." Maybe I can arrange a setting so you know, you and David can finally talk things out and everything will go back to normal" he said happily.

"There's no need for you to do that, I'll talk to David when I'm ready to talk to him, and as for him not being this same anymore, well that serves him right" I told him.

"How does it serve him right, I mean I know he slapped you but to be honest you know David can't control his anger, just see what he did to Adam" he said.

"Don't bring Adam into this matter" I said feeling defensive all of a sudden.

"Why are you suddenly defensive I wasn't going to bring him into the matter, I was just setting an example"he defended himself.

"Yh whatever" I said nonchantly.

"Wait don't tell me you've started falling for Adam again" he said with wide eyes.

"What do you mean by again, I never fell for Adam before" I said .

"Don't lie to me Ashley, you like Adam don't you?" He asked with a smirk.

"No I don't"

"Yes you do"

"No I don't"

"Yes you do"

"How are you sure I even like him" I asked raising my brow.

"Well I can see the way you look at him during class and also you care so much about what he thinks of you don't you?" He said.

"Maybe" I muttered.

"Just admit it Ashley you've fallen for two boys" he said.

Your wrong, it's three actually.

"Yeah yeah" I said.

"Logan I'm tired I want to go home" he little brother Isaac said to him not noticing my presence.

"Ok little bro, well I will see you later Ash, make sure you talk things out with David" he said before he took off.
