Thank u all my readers again! Here is chapter five! Sorry if it isn't good. I'm not a very good author but I'm trying!
-------------------
We ran to an area with many old stair cases. We ran down them until a boulder from the ceiling crushed on top of a stair case that only Legolas and Gandalf and Gimli crossed, the boulder broke through the stair case leaving a gap to cross.
Orcs started to fire arrows at us from a far, fortunately they have bad aim.
Boromir grabbed Pippin and Merry and hauled them with him as he jumped across.
I was going to jump next until part of the steps under me crumbled away and I jumped back away onto my stomach. I groaned in pain as I got up with Aragorn and Frodo. We were the only ones who had to jump. But now since the whole stair case we were on was swaying didn't help.
"leave forward!" Aragorn ordered as he held onto Frodo and I.
I did as I was told and the stair case tipped toward the rest of the group. And when the staircase crashed into the other I jumped and ended up in Legolas's arms.
"thanks again." I said.
He nodded and we headed toward a bridge. Everyone crossed the bridge except Gandalf. Who stopped half way and turned back to face a hideous monster. It was a shadow....yet it was on fire.
"what is that?" I whispered to myself.
"You shall not pass!" Gandalf yelled, thrusting his staff into the ground.
When the creature took a step forward, the ground beneath it crumbled away, and the creature fell into the unknown. But the creature used a whip and caught Gandalf's foot, taking Gandalf with him.
"No!" I cried, as Legolas pulled me away and up a few more steps until we reached the outside of the mines. On the rocky land I sat there, quietly crying.
"Legolas, get them up." Aragorn said.
"Give them a moment for pity sake!" Boromir pleaded.
"before nightfall these mountains will be swarming with orcs!" Aragorn argued.
Boromir fell silent.
Aragorn went over to me and helped me up, "You're injured." he noted.
"it can wait." I mumbled, "it's not a big deal." I lied. I was still burning in pain.
When everyone got a grip we left.
**hours later**
We were soon in a forest.
"you must keep an eye out.
There are stories of an evil elf witch, who poisons men with her beauty. I however am not as thick, I have the eyes and ears of a fox." Gimli said.
I rolled my eyes and smiled. But my smiled disappeared when I found an elf pointing an arrow at my face.
"that dwarf breathes so loudly we could have killed him in the dark." an elf said, who I suppose was the leader.
"amo thèon uron, Aragorn, mÿ īfar énòr Haldir!" (you are known to us Aragorn, my name is Haldir) Haldir said.
We were escorted to a beautiful city, where we met the princess, and was then escorted to where we would sleep. We didn't sleep in rooms, just a little area on the ground.
I sat on a stump until Aragorn came over to me.
"Let me see your injuries." Aragorn said.
I let him touch my shoulder, I winced in pain.
"Sorry." he mumbled.
"Its alright." I said.
He sighed, "it's dislocated."
I groaned, "great. Just great. Well, I better just get on with it."
Aragorn nodded and put one hand on my arm and another on my shoulder. I closed my eyes and made a strong moan as he put my shoulder in place. I opened my eyes to face Aragorn.
"Thank you, Aragorn." I said.
He just simply nodded, "And what about.....?"
"I think I have a few broken ribs, they'll have to heal on their own. But I'll managed." I told him. He smiled and told me to rest.
I nodded and sat down on the ground with my back and head resting on tree and I fell asleep.
**in dream....**
I woke up and saw Galadriel standing in front of me.
"what-" I wondered.
She smiled, "you have a bright future Destiny. But at the final battle, you will have to make a choice."
"and what choice is it?" I asked.
She shook her head slightly, "I cannot tell. But I can tell you this, your choice decides your fate."
Then everything blurred and went black
**out of dream in the morning***
After receiving presents from the elves we sent off on the lake
My gift was a beautiful silver-almost white-necklace that had some sort of square jewelry that had a-yes-small round black diamond in the middle. Galadriel told me to always wear it for it shall help me in the future, I didn't know what it meant, but I plan to follow the orders none the less.
----------------------------
Srry I know it's short and not very good but I'm trying! Also sorry for not remembering a few things and not making a cliff hanger. I remember I don't own LOTR it belongs to J.R.R Tolkien
