Episode 74: A   F u l f i l l e d  D u t y

"You're going to fucking pay for all of this," Jin grumbled out, crumpling his fingers together in a signal to tighten the pink python around Min's body. The head snapped open its fangs, biting onto Min's spear. Within his grip, it shattered to a thousand pieces. Min screamed out with pain as the python glowed with molten fire flames continuing to bite at him.

"I told you, didn't I?" Jin levitated off the ground, releasing a pink sword from his chest. "No one gets to mess with my treasures."

Bellum smiled, gripping onto her blade with revitalized power. "Let's get him together!"

Jin glanced at her silently. Pride furrowed his brows sensing something off with the tone of his brother.

"Bellum," He smirked. Her smile slowly faded. "Make sure she stays safe."

Jin turned away and reappeared right before Min.

"Do you know?" He cocked his head, grinning like a madman. "What happens when you break your own Soulblade?" Min's eyes widened with terror. "I mean, what's wrong? Didn't you want everything to end?"

"NO! I HAVE NOT FULFILLED MY DUTY!!" Min screamed with rage and desperation, struggling against the gigantic coil of snakes roping him down.

"Well, too bad because I already have." Jin brought his own Soulblade crashing down into his knee. A crack formed along with a pink glowing light ready to burst from it.

"Jin!! NO!!!!" Bellum reacted too late. "We can do take him down together! Don't do it!"

Jin smirked, confidently crashing the sword down again to his knee again.

"MY DUTY! MY PURPOSE!" Min lashed out, chanting like a brainless fool as the python coiled around him.

"Pride..." Sera whispered, "what's Jin doing?"

However, Pride was busy seething with blue flames, gritting down on his jaw as he stared at Jin with disbelief.

"JIIIN!" Bellum screamed, running towards him.

"Protect her!!"

She froze as he shouted the command.

Jin glanced right at Sera, mouthing something before the whole area turned into a blinding flash, a vicious pink python consuming the space.

Bellum quickly reappeared coddling over Sera as she shut her eyes, giving her back to the atomic explosion.

The ringing wouldn't stop.

For the next few moments, Sera covered over her ears, unable to get rid of the sound as she laid flat on her stomach. Her eyes teared up unexplainably and were still trying to adjust to the colors re-forming around her from a blank white canvas that had taken over.

A gasp escaped her lips the moment her vision fully adjusted. Looking up, the two large craters that were formed in the previous battle were no longer there. Instead, they became part of one massive crater. It looked as if a planet dropped down and left its mark on the ground. A few casualties from both sides lay in the outskirts of the crater, but everyone else seemed to have trouble readjusting from the explosion of power that had just happened only seconds ago.

"That fool. Did he really just do that?" Satan's eyes widened and he frowned with disappointment. Bellum bit down on her trembling lip, her eyes staring at the crater in disbelief.

"Why..." she mumbled to herself. "We really could have beat him together...so why..."

"Hey," Sera looked up at Bellum's shocked expression, "w-what happened to Jin?" Bellum stood silent, still phased by the aftermath. There weren't even any remains left to mourn. "HEY!" Sera tugged Bellum's arm, "WHERE'S JIN?! ANSWER ME NOW! WHERE IS HE! WHERE IS HE!"
