"Maggie wake up were leaving at ten" my mother tells from downstairs in the kitchen. As I get out of bed I remember that today is the day I'm moving across the country to California. I've lived in the small town of Norris my entire life. There are only three schools here Norris primary, Norris middle, and Norris High school. Very original I know. As I take in my room that I will only be living in for another hour, I picture another family's child growing up here taping up pictures like I have, having sleepovers in here, even having their first kiss in here. I then start to cry picturing my life in California not the same as here in Norris. The next half and hour I've been in my room siting on the floor talking to my best friend Emma, she's been my best friend since kindergarten ever since Brianna Gomez cut my hair and Emma stood up for me and offered to glue it back we've been very close. I ended the conversation with a smile and a few tears. Up next I had to call my boyfriend Myles. Another conversation ending with tears and a smile. Then we loaded the car. Here it goes California.
